जो लोग हिंसा की चाह रखते हैं उन्हें भारत का इतिहास नहीं मालूम। इस ज़मीन पर दशकों आंदोलन चले हैं और अहिंसक तरीके से चले हैं। अहिंसक आंदोलन की सफलता का इतिहास ज़्यादा विशाल है। कितने बड़े बड़े क़ानून बने और समाज में बदलाव हुए हैं। हिंसा का मतलब है आपने धीरज खो दिया। तर्क खो दिया। नेपाल के युवा या कहीं के युवा इस बात को समझ जाएँ। इसलिए गांधी जी ने लंबा वक्त लिया। उनका आंदोलन अंग्रेज़ी हुकूमत के साथ साथ हिंसा और नफ़रत को ख़िलाफ़ भी था। आंदोलन लोकतंत्र का उत्सव है। हिंसा इसे विध्वंस में बदल देती है।

IND-SA मैच के दौरान एक पाकिस्तानी पत्रकार ने खेल से हवाले से ये Interview लिया था जिसमें उन्होंने IND vs PAK के खेल और सियासी मसलों का जब ज़िक्र किया तो भारतीयों की भावनाओं को मैंने स्पष्टता से रख दिया।
