The U.S. Army Fitness Challenge brought its challenge to the P.E. classes on Thursday.
Teams competed against each other in various activities to achieve the best times or reps emphasizing the importance of physical fitness.

Students in PE classes enjoyed some time on the bikes at the beginning of May. They spent the first couple of days learning hand signals and rules of the road, and then they finished up the week by taking a ride to Splinter Park.

Yesterday, Captain Cuban dropped in on 4th grade to invite students to join band as 5th graders next year, making lots of new friends along the way!

The CCHS varsity baseball team won its Regional Quarter Final game against Wisconsin Heights by a score of 12-8.
The Cubans will now play on Tuesday, June 2 against Dodgeville at Dodgeville.

The CCHS varsity softball team ended its season on Thursday with a 0-10 loss to Mineral Point in the Regional Final game.
Although the season came to an end with a loss, we are proud of the team’s hard work, dedication, and accomplishments throughout the year.

The 2nd annual Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament took place in Workplace Communications during the 2025-26 school year.

Congrats to the CC/SW/B boys golf team! They placed 3rd and will move on to Sectionals. Individual scores were the following: Ben Thill 77, Isaac Wiegman 84, Levi Johns 90, Landon Loeffelholz 82, and Hudson Kieler 86.

The CCHS softball team defeated Belleville 16-8 on Tuesday and will move on to the Regional Finals. The Cubans will play Mineral Point at Mineral Point on Thursday, May 28.

CCHS Commencement took place on May 22. Speakers were Shayne Robson, Ashley Rowe, Reese Hill, and Kaden Solis. The Top Ten% were Ashley Rowe, Aly Ingersoll, Izzy Donar, Jackson Droessler, Brayden Longhenry, Lainey Welp, Shayne Robson, Reese Hill, and Victoria Schulz.
On May 20, a successful Scholarship Night was held for the Class of 2026.
About 190 presenters awarded 47 seniors over $440,000 in scholarships.
