Goa marked a significant milestone in its maritime journey with the inauguration of the new Captain of Ports Terminal Building at Panaji by Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal.

The inauguration was held in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant and other dignitaries.

The iconic terminal reflects Goa’s commitment to modern maritime infrastructure, efficient governance, safer navigation, and sustainable waterfront development.

Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Government of India, Shri. Sarbananda Sonowal (@sarbanandsonwal ) and Chief Minister @DrPramodPSawant inaugurated newly constructed Captain of Ports Terminal Building at Panaji.

The state-of-the-art riverfront facility has been developed to strengthen maritime administration, improve navigational monitoring, and enhance public-facing services associated with inland and coastal waterways.

The office of the Collector (North), Goa has operationalized a dedicated helpline number for addressing grievances and queries related to the Mhaje Ghar Yojana of the general public.

The said helpline number shall remain functional during the office hours.

Chief Minister, @DrPramodPSawant inaugurated Jan Kalyan Shibir at Ravindra Bhavan, Sankhali, under the #SwayampurnaGoa Programme. The initiative aims to provide citizens with information, assistance, and access to various government welfare schemes and services.

During the programme, CM felicitated 12 iconic personalities in various sector.

The Shibir featured dedicated counters for the Mhaje Ghar Yojana and Kisan Credit Card (KCC) to serve the general public.

The Jan Kalyan Shibir will be held tomorrow from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Ravindra Bhavan, Sankhali. This citizen-centric initiative brings key welfare schemes and government services directly to the people. The camp will feature dedicated assistance counters for the Mhaje Ghar Scheme and Kisan Credit Card, along with on-the-spot query and grievance redressal.
