We’re building his eyesight up daily. The little see through fence is the only thing that confuses him now.
A really fantastic tonic to be out with him making progress (3/3)
Some horses win races. A very special few change lives.
Mind Your Biscuits did both.
You will be missed far more than any words can express.
Thank you, Biscuits, for every race, every mile, every lesson, and every moment.
Rest easy, old friend. 💔

FAFO! Texas won’t play! 🇺🇸
Just got a call from a friend in my town …
To sum it up - an older man had a stroke in my town and can’t take care of his dog. There’s no information about how old the dog is, name, breed, etc. looks mixed breed to me.
They tell me he’s very friendly. I can’t take another rescue right now, because I have 10, and Pedro is old and needs extra care.
Here’s some pictures, if anyone is interested, I’ll pay the initial vet bills, he probably needs some care.

Does anyone know trainer Rachel Lynn Lopez Olmeda or Palm Beach Racing V, LLC?
A horse they were last connected to (last race 12/25) is now in TX and needs help. I’m sure the entire industry and racing fans would appreciate if they could step up and help this horse - after all, anyone who puts food on their table or gasoline in their tank because a horse runs, has an obligation to help.
USDA Sec. Brooke Rollins: "We found 200,000 dead people getting food stamps, and 500,000 getting more than one benefit... in the red states. Blue states are suing us... The fraud is so stunning."
NEW: Man doesn't appear to know his kids' names after a 4-month-old baby was flung from his vehicle in a high-speed police chase.
28-year-old Tyrice Fletcher is accused of fleeing from police with children in his car after refusing to pull over for a traffic violation.
Fletcher hit speeds exceeding 100 mph. Arkansas State Police say they were unaware that children were in the car during the chase.
After the car flipped, police raced to the vehicle to find a 4-month-old lying in the grass.
They then found three other children in the car.
Miraculously, the children, all under 6, only suffered minor injuries.
Fletcher faces numerous charges, including four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.
The ultimate betrayal 😡.
Henry is a 13-year-old Labrador who had been with his owner since he was a puppy. But one evening in Vancouver, Washington, that lifelong bond was shattered.
At a local park, Henry’s owner let him out of the car as if they were going for a walk. Then, after removing his collar and ID, she led him toward a trailhead ~ before suddenly turning back, getting into her car, and driving away. Confused and loyal, Henry stayed behind, waiting for her to return.
The heartbreaking moment was captured on a neighbor’s surveillance camera prompting Good Samaritans to call police. As Henry waited, he was eventually brought to a local shelter, Humane Society of Southwest Washington, where he remained safe while authorities investigated the case.
The video quickly spread online, leading to a wave of tips that helped identify the owner and her vehicle. These tips led Animal Control officers to Maria Bruce, 63, of Portland, Oregon.
While she later claimed she felt she had no other options, rescuers strongly disagreed—especially after learning she had reportedly told others Henry had died, while he was still waiting for her.
I Paw’d It Forward, the rescue that spearheaded the search, wrote on Facebook. “She drove her lovely Tesla to the meeting so she could cry her fake tears and make up her fake story. She did finally admit it, but she really had no choice. I Have ZERO EMPATHY FOR HER. Less than zero even.”
Authorities confirmed that abandonment is considered animal cruelty, and she was cited by prosecutors.
And Henry? He’s no longer waiting alone. He found a forever family who will love him for the rest of his life.
Henry’s story is a painful reminder—but also an important one. No matter how difficult circumstances may be, there are always better options. Shelters, rescues, and community resources exist to help both pets and their people.
And this is also a good reminder that sharing stories like these does lead to answers, to justice, to brighter futures for vulnerable dogs. Every tap to like, share and comment matters in the world of social media. Support organisations and pages that share important stories and help them amplify their voices so their messages can be seen.
What began as a moment of betrayal became something else entirely: proof that even when one person walks away, a whole community can step in with love. And now, in his golden years, Henry finally has what he always deserved—a family who won’t leave. 🐾💛
Rounded up from Salt Wells Creek WY, Thunder was adopted out and passed from person to person, each trying to break his #wildhorse spirit and make him a riding horse. The cruelty and abuse left him terrified of people. His wonderful last owner understood he needed sanctuary.
