The girls Vintage Beauty & Perfect Art were picked up from the lot a little while ago and they are en-route to quarantine at The Bridge Sanctuary & placement where we know Margaret will provide them with excellent long term care. 😊❤ Update! We have reached goal for Vintage Beauty & Perfect Art. A total of $1640 was raised. Thank you so much to everyone who shared, cared and donated and especially to Lori for finishing off the fundraiser and a big thank you to Torian D for providing the majority of their bail costs. They are thin, exhausted and crying for each other. It is so stressful on horses to go through this when they are healthy and strong but twice as hard when they are weaker. Know too well the pressure, sacrifices and injuries endured by jockeys and their families. Three of my brother in laws were jockeys and my brother was a jockey. It is not only a dangerous job but a very stressful one and jockeys need mental health support as much as any other athlete or person.

This is so sad and wrong for these mares who are thin, scared and calling out to each other and look like they could possibly be in foal and foal any day to end up at a feedlot. The bay mare is lame and both look so exhausted. Thoroughbred racing and breeding industry, is this your answer and solution for thoroughbred mares that are the very life of the industry ? You know this is an issue and has been an ongoing issue for a very long time and you have done nothing to help or to stop it. You can't defend this. Shame on you. Shame on you. So sick of the damn hypocrisy and inaction.

🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘Poster 05/31/26. The floodgates have opened again unfortunately. Some horses are safe due to our efforts and others but still many need help and new ones have come in. Current status of the 24 horses that came in together, 13 were sold for Recip mares unfortunately, one other one Tag 2075 Tedlena has sold but there are still 10 that remain and need help. This is a monumental task to rescue this many horses at one time and it will take a boatload of money and an Army to save them. This never should have happened to these horses but it did and here they are needing help. Who is going to help them and the other horses at other lots on this poster? 🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘
