ZELENSKYY: You have all seen how Russia struck with drones our Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, one of the most important Christian holy sites for entire Christian world.
Attacking such places is crime against humanity. You can see our response to this attack in Moscow region this morning.
Our long-range strikes are hitting Russian oil facilities and refineries very effectively.
Russia is already facing fuel shortages, and its federal budget revenues are falling significantly.
At the same time, our mid-range strikes are seriously disrupting Russian military logistics.
But Putin is not stopping this war. He insists on continuing it, so the pressure on Russia must grow.
Efforts to deal with the aftermath of the Russian strikes are ongoing in Kyiv, as well as in Kharkiv. Last night, the Russians launched more than 60 missiles at the capital alone. In total, 70 missiles and 611 drones were used against Ukraine. As of now, 28 people have been reported injured and four killed in the capital. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. A Russian strike on the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra set the Dormition Cathedral on fire – a church whose history dates back to the 11th century. And this is one of Russia’s most serious crimes against Christian culture to date. The State Emergency Service has already extinguished the fire on the cathedral’s roof. In Kharkiv, the Russians carried out a repeat strike against our rescuers as they were putting out a fire at the site of an earlier strike on an industrial facility. So far, tragically, five people have been confirmed killed. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. Nine people have been injured. In Dnipro, Russia struck the grounds of a railway station, a college, and several enterprises.
Other cities and communities were targeted as well. The Kyiv, Dnipro, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Mykolaiv regions were also under attack. This is how Russia shows the world its intention to continue the war. It is very important that there be a response from the G7 countries, which are now gathering for their summit – and that this response be decisive and substantive: more pressure on the aggressor and more support for Ukraine’s air defense, especially anti-ballistic capabilities. I thank everyone who is helping us protect lives.
O'BRIEN: Trump believed Ukraine had no cards, that he could bully Ukrainians into giving Putin very good deal.
He didn't understand that Ukraine was developing their own capabilities and their willingness to fight.
So, Trump failed for two reasons. First, Ukrainians adapted, and that wasn't expected by him.
You can see there have been some changes in his rhetoric lately, where he has to grudgingly admit that Ukraine has actually done better.
The United States completely underestimated Ukrainian resilience.
Secondly, Trump thought Europeans would bully Ukraine along with him because they would be afraid of United States leaving NATO.
He thought he could use NATO to push Europeans to force Ukraine to take a bad deal. Europeans eventually helped Ukraine more than he thought.
They seem to understand that it's actually better for them to have Ukraine fight the war the way Ukraine wants.
Trump didn't understand what Ukraine was capable of and he misjudged what Europeans would do.
As always, a good audience with His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. I thank His Majesty, the people, and the entire United Kingdom for their ironclad support for our people.

Rep. Ted Lieu presses Sec. Marco Rubio on Trump sleeping in meetings. Lieu plays different clips during the budget hearing of Trump dozing off and questions the President's cognitive ability and physical health.
SEN. BLUMENTHAL: Russia is not winning and won't win. Ukraine can prevail if we support it. I am here [in Kyiv] to thank you for helping our military, saving their lives from Iranian drones and missiles. What you're teaching the world is extraordinarily valuable, and we owe you.
No nation, no society, and no international order can call itself just and humane if it measures its success solely by power or prosperity while neglecting those who live at the margins. Indeed, Christ’s love for the least and the forgotten compels us to reject every form of selfishness that leaves the poor and the vulnerable invisible.
🔥 So many targets in Moscow and the surrounding region are on fire this morning thanks to Ukrainian drone attacks that I've literally lost track.
How does that feel, Russia? Karma, baby.
3X Trump Voter: “It’s hard for me to say this, but I think if I can open up about it in public it might help others… I regret my support for Trump, and I should’ve known better. He’s a con man. A liar. The worst, most corrupt president we’ve ever had.”
"President Xi couldn't believe the amount of damage I'd done to my own country in only 15 months."
trump AGREED that America is in decline.
Traitorous bastard.
The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Putin and his accomplices in the abduction of Ukrainian children. This is a global case – and it must have global consequences. Everyone who commits crimes against children must truly feel that this is wrong.
Today, we have new sanctions against those who abduct children and try to normalize it. And the pressure on Russia must not ease. Sanctions work. And the world has power. Please use it right.
From an address to the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children (3/3).
Today is Europe Day.
And Ukraine is marking it not formally or through sloganeering, but fully aware that we are already an inseparable part of the European family. We are defending Ukraine, our independence, our future – and in doing so, we in Ukraine are defending our Europe. A Europe of which Ukraine has been and will remain a part.
From the first days of the full-scale war until today, Europe has stood with Ukraine. And this is not charity – it is a choice made by Europeans: to stand on the same side as the brave and the strong – the Ukrainians who are fighting today for peace and true protection against tyranny, not only for themselves, but for the entire continent. And we will inevitably defend our state, our people, and our right to freely choose our future – a future in Europe.
Glory to Ukraine!
Our long-range sanctions continue to provide an entirely just response to Russian strikes.
Last night, combat launches of F-5 Flamingo cruise missiles were carried out as part of the Armed Forces’ Deep Strike operation against several enemy targets, including military-industrial complex facilities in Cheboksary.
The Ukrainian “Flamingos” covered a distance of more than 1,500 kilometers. The military production facility that was targeted produced relay protection systems, automation systems, and low-voltage equipment. The plant supplied navigation components for the Russian Navy, the missile industry, aviation, and armored vehicles. Everything that the Russians are using in the war against us — against Ukraine.
Russia must end its war and turn to real diplomacy. We have made our proposal clear. Glory to Ukraine!
Based on the results from April, our long-range sanctions have reached a new level across three components: reducing Russia’s oil revenues, as well as the range and intensity of sanctions. It is important that not only is the target itself reached, as defined by the operational objective, but that the downtime of the target is increased or, at the very least, its operations are significantly reduced.
According to the most conservative estimates, since the beginning of the year, the aggressor state has lost at least $7 billion solely as a direct result of our precise sanctions against Russia’s oil industry and refining sector – due to direct hits, downtime, and delays in shipments.
I am grateful to all our warriors of the Defense Forces of Ukraine who, together with the Security Service of Ukraine and our intelligence agencies, are delivering these results. We will scale up our long-range systems capabilities. Decisions are being prepared.
Glory to Ukraine!
