Nobody is talking about it, but there is a massive collaboration, a massive sharing of knowledge globally. Across all nations.

I want to live to be 100, a simple old man cheering and encouraging every new development. Such a marvelous time to be alive.

AI is spreading like a wildfire because most of the code is shared. It's called open source and that's why the models are so similar. Thousands of companies have the same exact software anchor for their new breakthroughs.

The.Electric Vehicle manufacturing boom is because Tesla shared patents globally and the Chinese fiercely grabbed the knowledge and ran with it. Elon said, "here's how we do it. See if you can make it better." Even more exciting is that the companies are copying Elon, and sharing the innovations in Chinese vehicles.

This fantastic collaboration, this global uplifting of humanity, faces two threats in my opinion. One is a dominating scientific discovery based on an evil intent. The second is religious anti-science fanaticism that creates chaos.

Neither will be able to stop this marvelous future from happening.

I don't know the consequences of having instant solutions, instant directions, instant explanations for every thought in my head. It feels powerful, liberating, indispensable.

I'm asking Gemini AI all kinds of questions when I'm watching the news or a science program I'm trying to understand. I feel that anything I want to know is now available, and all I have to do is frame the question properly. If I don't understand, it dumbs it down for me. Thus, for the first time, I'm always carrying my phone.

Neurolink (Musk, again) has already proven that chips embedded in the brain can respond to the thoughts of quadriplegics. If the path can go one way, why not the other? Will a brain chip replace my cell phone? What happens if I only have to think of something, and the AI in my head explains it in a way I easily understand? The concept of "education" will disappear. Books are horribly inefficient vehicles for learning. No schools. This has been forecast for decades in science fiction (the Borg) and now seems surprisingly close, with real progress being made in the brain-computer link.

What if the breakthrough occurs in 20 years? Will you have your child's brain implanted after the skull stops growing? If you don't, your child will be mentally challenged compared to those who do.

China has already won.

They were excluded from the International Space Station because they copy technology.

They were excluded from purchasing the best computer chips or chip building equipment.

They have been scorned as people who have to cheat on patents because they don't have the ability to do it themselves.

China's response was to become a country of engineers. Over a decade ago, I first warned that this will overpower the US. They graduate more engineers every year than the TOTAL college graduates in the US.

Engineers run China. Lawyers and accountants run America. They don't spend trillions of dollars on wars to protect what they already have. They spend trillions on engineering projects all over the globe. They have the engineering capacity the US can't touch. Engineers learn from mistakes. They learn and then build better.

The Chinese built their own space station. It's better. They built their own Artificial Intelligence chips and they may be better than Nvidia (https://t.co/pza7mqQAVX a Chinese immigrant in the US). They build better, cheaper cars - blocked by the US government to keep citizens from knowing Chinese superiority. They have, by far, the world's greatest amount of electric power. They have leading innovations in every area of science- robots, telescopes, medical, computer software.

This nation of engineers is seeking domination of the people of the world through building infrastructure and replaces the sad, tired, US model of domination through military threats of annihilation.

Trump and Putin need to stand down. An unprecedented era of global wealth creation has already begun. Don't protect the pie. Grow the pie. Starlink gives everyone a piece of pie. That should be the new US model.
