@Ravex24 @IthoughtiwasU@MayaOfAuckland@pinkheretic Yeah because we can observe it was finely tuned for life to exist, we can't know if he precisely wanted it for humanity solely and we know things existed long before humanity.
The argument is for intelligent life, not humanity.
@sennekuyl@Jonywalker56@Robertof49 @NedWilcox1 @pinkheretic I gave evidence for this
Everything which begins to exist has a cause
the universe began to exist
therefore the universe has a cause
the most plausible explanation is god.
@sennekuyl@Jonywalker56@Robertof49 @NedWilcox1 @pinkheretic and no every religion does not have equal strength evidence, that just show's you never compared religions and there evidences.
@IthoughtiwasU @Ravex24 @MayaOfAuckland@pinkheretic but that's not the sole purpose since we have no idea what the sole purpose was of god in fine-tuning the universe.
The argument was a finely tuned universe for intelligent life not for human existence.
@MayaOfAuckland @Ravex24 @IthoughtiwasU@pinkheretic But none are plausible explanations for all that we observe and highly improbable. God is the best answer for all of these things and I think current science has proven that the universe had a cause.
The universe requires a cause and god is a plausible answer.
@Ravex24 @IthoughtiwasU@MayaOfAuckland@pinkheretic he has and I told you that he said it was for the sole purpose of humanity, when that's not what the argument is about.
@MayaOfAuckland@IthoughtiwasU @Ravex24 @pinkheretic that's from a limited human perspective when god's perspective could be much more than making things pleasant for living things.
Not to mention the anthropic principle is subject to observer bias which was demonstrated earlier.
The creator's goal are beyond human understanding
@IthoughtiwasU @Ravex24 @MayaOfAuckland@pinkheretic You're assuming that god's only goal was for his ultimate creation without realizing that his purpose and intentions could be beyond the human perspective.
Also, the value of existence is not derived from its duration of time.
@Robertof49@sennekuyl @NedWilcox1 @pinkheretic I know god exists and I have good evidence for it, you have no good reason for your atheism, and if you actually followed that view to its logical conclusion you would be in utter despair.
God is real and exists, give it another go!
@Anjola_Boy @pinkheretic because god is not a created being, the universe is.
whatever begins to exist has a cause
god did not begin to exist, he has always existed eternally.
my logic isn't flawed you just don't understand that god is not a created thing like the universe.
