#ProjectAfrica Day 17: 47.7km

Some 48 hours it’s been. Solo across the border. Into the desert for a night shift. Made it out alive. No sleep. Exhausted. No choice but to carry on into the day. Boiling hot. Ran out of water. No shade anywhere. Just desert and tarmac.

Found a passer by who gave me a lift to next town to resupply. Waiting for boys to cross the border in the support van so they can drop me back to the finish point from the day and I can get back out there this evening to give everything I’ve got left (not much) for day 18. Most tapped I’ve felt in a hot minute. Love this game.
