・アンディと同じ街で、ゴミ収集の仕事に従事
・音楽に合わせ、楽しそうに働く姿が描かれました。

■制作陣が明かした「罪」
しかし、制作チームはこの設定に深い意味を込めました。
「おもちゃが生きていると知っているのは、あの世界で彼だけ」
ウッディに叱られたあの日、彼の精神は壊れてしまったのです。
「彼に許されないことをした。私たちは彼の味方だ」と監督は語ります。

■彼だけが見える景色
ゴミ収集員という職業を選んだ背景。
それは、捨てられたおもちゃを「救う」ためだったという説も。
誰も信じてくれない真実を一人抱え、彼は大人になりました。

■結論
かつての悪役は、物語で最も孤独な「真実の目撃者」でした。
15年越しに明かされた伏線に、ファンの間で衝撃が走っています。

映画を見返すと、彼の鼻歌さえも切なく聞こえてくる。

この設定を知ってから3作目を観ると、涙が止まりません。
