Following a rumor which appears to be persistent on social media relating to a salary cut of Medical Doctors at the end of August 2024,

I would like to clarify that the Ministry of Finance has actually proceeded, since the month of August, to issue revenue orders against staff who continued to unduly benefit from the “Technical Agent Technical” allowance, formerly served to public health personnel before February 2002, date on which the President of the Republic granted them by decree, 03 health allowances, namely:
- the technical allowance;
- the public health allowance;
- and the on-call allowance.

The said decree therefore replaced the “Technical Agent Technical allowance" with the “Technical” allowance for Medical Doctors.

Thus, the current approach, which only concerns those who had not updated their salary elements, intends to clean up the State personnel file in order to further liquidate the accumulated arrears.

We are therefore counting on the republican spirit of the Health soldiers, so that they do not give in to the sirens of exploitation around each action of the Government.

Let us remain mobilized for the implementation of our Phase 1 of the Universal Health Coverage, as instructed by the Head of State. /-
