When pensions are delayed, lives are put on hold. Since taking office, I have committed ₦25 billion to pension payments, reaching over 10,000 pensioners between October 2022 and October 2025. Every payment is a reminder that decades of service to Ekiti are never forgotten.
This is a continuous exercise, and we will keep working to ensure our retirees receive their entitlements consistently and with dignity. After a lifetime of dedication, security in old age is not a favour, it is a right. This is governance that remembers, honours, and cares.

It was a historic day in Ekiti as we received commercial flight operations commenced at the Ekiti Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport, witnessed by all my predecessors in office and other distinguished Nigerians.
Watching the United Nigeria Airline aircraft touch down for the first time with former Governors Niyi Adebayo, Kayode Fayemi and Ayodele Fayose as well as the Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele and many other dignitaries alighting from the aircraft, filled me with gratitude to God and pride in what this milestone represents for our people.
This airport opens a new chapter for Ekiti. With over N49 billion invested across administrations, this facility will strengthen our agricultural value chains, support exports, expand access to markets and create new opportunities for investors, farmers and young professionals. Our goal is to connect Ekiti to the world and unlock the vast economic potential of our state.
I appreciate all my predecessors whose efforts contributed to this moment. I acknowledge H.E. Dr Kayode Fayemi @kfayemi who inaugurated the airport during his tenure and advanced the work to a substantial level, laying the foundation that enabled us to complete the outstanding phases and open the facility for full commercial operations. I also recognise former Governors Ayodele Fayose and Segun Oni for their roles at earlier stages of the project.
My gratitude goes to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu whose economic reforms freed resources that made completion possible. I thank Aare Afe Babalola for his extraordinary support through the donation of critical navigational equipment and other facilities, and the Minister of Aviation for his partnership. I also appreciate United Nigeria Airlines for choosing to partner with Ekiti at this pivotal moment.
To the people of Ekiti, this airport belongs to you. I encourage our entrepreneurs, farmers, business leaders and young professionals to seize the opportunities it brings. With improved air connectivity, Ekiti is ready for bigger dreams and greater prosperity.

I feel highly honoured to represent Mr Governor, His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji at the New Telegraph Newspaper's award where HE is billed to be presented the Governor of the Year ( Good Governance and Community Development) 2024 award.
I had the honour of attending the meeting of the State Caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti, where I joined our esteemed party leaders, past governors, current and former members of the National Assembly, and many other prominent leaders.
I was truly humbled and encouraged by the support received from the caucus, and I am grateful for their recognition of the work my team and I are doing. I am committed to serving the people of Ekiti with the same dedication and passion to sustain the progress we have made so far.
Together, we will work towards consolidating democratic governance in our state and continue to make positive strides for the benefit of our people.

I wish everyone a joyous Sallah festival.
I was pleased to sign four new laws that affirm our administration's commitment to good governance, accountability, effective regulation, and equal opportunity for development by all communities in our state.
The laws are the Ekiti State Regulation Approval Law, 2024; Ekiti State Environmental Protection and Watershed Management Agency Law, 2024; Ekiti State Bureau of Asset Management Law, 2024; and Ekiti State Local Content (First Amendment) Law, 2024. These laws will bring about streamlined processes, better environmental protection, improved asset management, and increased local production, all of which will contribute to the overall development of our state.
I commend our House of Assembly members for painstakingly making tangible laws and the State Executive Council for their commitment to service delivery. Our administration remains committed to working for the needs and aspirations of our people in line with the shared prosperity agenda.
EKSG TO TURN RENOWNED CARVER, OLOWE’S HOUSE INTO WORLD-CLASS MUSEUM
Governor @biodunaoyebanji has announced plans to build a world class museum in Ise-Ekiti in his effort to preserve the legacies of internationally renowned carver, popularly called Olowe of Ise Ekiti.
One full year has now passed since Governor @biodunaoyebanji assumed the role of Executive Governor in Ekiti State. After closely observing his administration, I'd like to present four distinct snapshots that encapsulate his approach and style over the past 12 months:
Frame 1: BAO was observed championing local investments while conducting project inspections at @goseeikogosi.
Frame 2: BAO was seen amidst a crowd of educators, expressing his appreciation and celebrating them on International Teachers' Day.
Frame 3: BAO acted as a symbol of political unity when he paid a visit to the SDP Gubernatorial candidate, Engr. Segun Oni, following the Supreme Court's ruling that affirmed BAO as the Governor of Ekiti State.
Frame 4: BAO made a surprise visit to a gathering of tech enthusiasts and creative minds during their hangout at @Ashagardens , organized by the @InnovateEkiti team, under the able leadership of HC @seunfakze.
Without a doubt, BAO has redefined governance in Ekiti State, bringing a fresh and dynamic approach to leadership.
