Why do people keep referring to the Angela Rayner investigation as a ‘council house’ affair. It stopped being a council house in 2008. Since then it has just been a house like any other. Are they trying to imply that she abused the right-to-buy scheme? @AngelaRayner @carolvoders
@carolvorders Only about one fifth of his income is earned, the rest flows his way without any effort. Why should unearned income attract a lower rate of tax than income that is worked for? Wage earners pay twice - they contribute through their labour, and they pay a higher rate of tax.
With the upcoming local elections, @suellaBraverman's attack on men with Pakistani heritage is an attempt to link paedophilia with leftwing 'woke' labour councils. It is copying the US republican/Trumpian playbook, #pizzagate. Shameful!
If 586 nurses each worked solidly for a basic salary of £32,000 p.a. for 40 years, their combined salary would equal £750,080,000, the estimated value of Rishi Sunak and his wife (Times Rich List). #nursestrike, #nurse
@Le__Katerina@SholaMos1 Perhaps the young royals are coming out in solidarity with their favourite cousin Harry and his wife, against all the abuse that has been hurled at them.
Why do the Queen or Charles not pay for #PrinceHarry's security out of their own private fortunes? Their (great)grandchildren have had death threats against them. Normal humans would do anything to protect their immediate family. What is wrong with these people?
@okoye_obianuju @KensingtonRoyal The royal family rarely, if ever, stand up for these women and tell the press to back off. I do remember, however, they did stand up for Kate early in her relationship with William.
@okoye_obianuju @KensingtonRoyal I am not defending anyone who posts abuse on-line. Any abuse Kate received was, as far as I am aware, not racist. It may however have been mysoginistic. It is common for women who marry into the royal family to be hounded and attacked by the press.
