@foosecn00b@PoliticsIsLoca1@ok_post_guy So your point boils down to the idea that the difference between the two is that one is legal and one is not, great job Einstein that's precisely what im saying.
@yyhh6tgg63536@Foab337918@rhumbro53422 Again that's just semantics and has no salience. But sure even working with your preferred terminology is the influx of domesticated cats not "Man made" and capable of having a negative ecological impact? Im truly struggling to see the coherence of your argument.
@Sasanearr @naval They obviously would've loved to utilized the looms if they weren't used as a tool to extract even more labor from them. Do you understand how bad labor laws were in the fucking 1800s
@Sasanearr @naval Big dog you just have a very simplistic understanding of the luddites motivations. They correctly identified the dangers of automation being used to exploit the worker rather than to benefit them.
@bobby_mum38353@MensHumor So the people you expect to serve you only deserve a modicum of autonomy? There's so many jobs that provide so much less to society than fast food workers but make an outrageous amount of money. A reasonable standard of living for all employed adults shouldn't be controversial.
