👥 Islandbound is not single-player any more — invite a friend and watch them fish, farm and build beside you.

🏝️ Islandbound — Updates 2026-09-22 (v0.36–v0.42)

🏝️ Switch island from the pause menu or Settings → Island — no sign-out, no new wallet signature.
🌴 A note under your name tells you when the island server is out of reach, and when it is back.
👥 Friends now see the tool in your hand — axe, hammer, shovel, machete — not just the swing.
🤝 Joining a friend or uploading your island? You pick your name and character first.
📱 Settings → Island: “Copy invite text” gives you a ready message with link, code and what to bring.
🔑 Your chosen character shows up right away, without a reload.
⚡ The second start is instant: the island pack now lives in your browser, no more waiting for models and textures.
🚀 Updates arrive as a small download in the background — a note under your name says when to reload.
⚡ The game starts even without internet (your island itself still needs the server).
🚀 Islandbound can be installed as an app from the browser menu — own window, own icon.
🏝️ The island level now counts what everyone clears together — a helper who joins stands on the island’s level.
🔨 Selling, rebuilding smaller, cancelling a build and processing animals stay with the owner; helpers build.
⚙️ The guide now says what travels with you (gold, bag, tools) and what belongs to the island (fields, animals).
👥 You stay together: walking into a house, a shop or the city no longer makes the others vanish.
👤 A new character now shows up for everyone — and "X is here." only says it when someone really arrives.
🌴 A quick trip to the city and back no longer rolls the island back to an older state.
🐛 Bug reports take your own images: paste, drop or add up to three.
🤝 Watch a friend fish: you see the rod, the line out on the water and the bend when something is on.
🤚 You also see what else their hands are doing — a chicken in the arms, the hose and its spray, the stove.
🐾 An animal in someone’s hand now stays there for everyone, instead of wandering off on your screen.
🧤 The hand that lifts your animals is painted now — much smaller, and it really holds them by the scruff.
🛋️ Sit down in your pod: three seats on the sofa, two at the dining table — and friends see you sitting.
🐄 Milk is collected at the barn panel now, like the eggs at the coop — the cows just want a pet.
🌱 Watering follows your pointer smoothly instead of snapping from tile to tile.
🧱 Paths under a barn or coop floor stay hidden inside; outside they still run right up to the wall.
🍳 The kitchen in your pod is a worktop again, not a wall — it ends below your shoulders.
🌙 Sleep in your pod and you wake up right there, instead of outside the front door.
👥 A friend with a rod now holds it properly: the grip sits in their hand and the tip points out over the water.

• Your island now lives in your account: sign in with Phantom on any browser and it is there.
• Play together: Settings → Island makes invite codes; friends join as helper or guest and you see each other.
• Three roles — owner, helper, guest. Guests walk, fish and look; helpers farm and build with you.
• Bug reports go straight to the server — no more files to attach.
• Playing together is smooth now: friends walk past you fluidly instead of jumping around.
• What a friend digs, paves or clears shows up on your island within a moment — no waiting for the grass.
• You can see friends swing their tools — digging, chopping, planting and cutting grass.
• Boxed in after stepping out of your house? The island moves you to open ground — no more getting stuck.

• A hand from the sky: point at any animal and right-click — it lifts it by the scruff like a puppy.
• The animal dangles under the hand and swings as you move the mouse; right-click again to set it down.
• Strayed cows, sheep and hens go wherever you point — a tree, a wall or the water is no place to land.
• Report a bug: Menu → Report a bug (or Settings → Game) sends Robbie a screenshot and your island file.
