Gonna do a small recap of today's Epic Games layoffs:

-1000 Employees, including:
- @evankinney, Principal Engineer, handled LANs, Events, etc. Key Figure.
- @cricketgg7, and many other QA (playtesters, will be disastrous for the future of this game)
-@TheStevieT, Marketing Manager
-@GeorgeSokol, Senior Environmental Artist

Many more were laid off, but these are some key figures to Fortnite, and Epic Games. QA layoffs will be terrible for the game's quality going forward, Marketing layoff speaks for itself, and Evan's layoff will genuinely tear apart a huge aspect of this game, as he was incredibly knowledgeable and talented. Please support anyone you find that was laid off to try to help them get back on their feet. My heart goes out to everyone here and everyone else I couldn't list.

- Putting more focus on collabs
- laying off 900 employees cause “epic losing too much money”

- for 3 Chapters UEFN and Metaverse become main focus overshadowing Fortnite’s own core
- Was thinking about changing Fortnite name for a bit until backlash
- Over promising on every aspect and under delivering
- Highering vbucks prices cause “we need to pay bills”
- lays off 1000 employees AGAIN

Meawhile:
- Still making disney and metaverse modes
- Still paying millions to UEFN people, even ai generated things or BRAINROTT. And there is more collabs in Fortnite rn than ever before

Tim sweeney is an example of when a person is willing to sacrifice everything for the sake of their goals, even if the goal is idiotic and stupid

Willing to sacrifice your own developers, your own gaming community for it.
