@RedWavePress Seems unfair she gets 15 while the man who stabbed Iriyna is not held accountable and multiple child predators are set free often. Don’t get me wrong- throw the full law at crime. But where is justice for the innocent who did not choose to be victimized. Perry chose drugs.
@megbasham@Altard_State My thoughts exactly! Every time we go in, I am shocked at how revealing, short, and immodest most things are. Which is so sad, because my teens love it and hear me say “no” more often than any other store.
I asked my 840k Instagram followers (mostly Christian women) what their biggest concern is for the country right now, and by FAR the most common answer is the growing influence of Islam. I’d like to see this concern reflected in the GOP asap
Seriously. It reminds me of the threatening parent who never follows through and then wonders why their kids are so disobedient. They know they don’t have to listen and they can get away because no one is really going to do anything about it.
@DebraRu66150029 @mirandadevine@RealJamesWoods Could, but never do. All the heinous crimes that happened under the Biden administration will be blustered over, but no action seems to ever get really taken.
@VigilantFox As a teacher, this is a frightening take because you can be the best teacher in the world but if home life is not good, you will not get the results. So if you base pay on merit coming from outcomes you will penalize teachers of students with unsupportive homes and backgrounds.
@RobertMSterling I’m an identical twin and when my twins were just learning to talk, the could t figure out how alike we were. So they always ended up calling my twin Auntie Mommy and it has just stuck.
@RobertMSterling My daughter could never say “Joseph” so when she was telling me the Christmas story when she was 2, it was all about Mary and Dofek. He’s Dofek to us even now that she’s 13 and does not find it as amusing as we do.
The best random part about having small kids is how they mispronounce things and it’s so adorable that you not only don’t correct them, you start adopting it yourself.
During Covid, our daughter couldn’t say “hand sanitizer” correctly. Three years later and we all still call it “hanzatizer.”
When my son was two, he had a toy Elmo guitar that he called his “kintar.” My wife and I only stopped pronouncing it like that once he started real kintar lessons and we sounded dumb in front of the teacher.
Our toddler is two and she calls her backpack a “pack pack.” Now the other kids talk about getting their pack packs ready for school every day.
We’re having pasghetti for dinner tonight.
It probably sounds stupid, but it’s little things like this that make parenthood—despite all the challenges—an irreplaceable joy.
