One of the most consistent themes we heard at BETT wasn’t surprising, but it was important. Educators weren’t looking for something new to manage. They were looking for something that fit. Fit with their curriculum. Fit with their day-to-day teaching. Fit with the realities of mixed classrooms and limited time. Again and again, the conversation came back to the same idea: adoption only works when technology reduces friction instead of adding to it. When teachers don’t have to redesign lessons, learn entirely new systems, or manage multiple tools just to understand how students are progressing. These concerns aren’t new, but hearing them echoed across schools, regions, and roles reinforced how central they still are. It’s a reminder that meaningful change in education is usually quiet, practical, and built around trust.
