@paulg I don't hate the cars, but I believe that for every generation, there is a group of asshole drivers that all buy the same car. It used to be BMWs, now it is Teslas. Not saying everyone that drives one is an asshole, I'm saying 70% of the time, the asshole driver is in a Tesla.
@VernNotice Yes all those things, plus go outside and get with nature. Hike, bike ride (in the mountains), camp, explore. We weren't made to be inside 90% of our lives.

@geek_eek6220@zenfoxx@DonutOperator Well some animals, in some regions you can. Feral pigs I believe are one such animal. Land rights are still in play though.
@zenfoxx@DonutOperator Because that is how the tag system works. The government entity that is responsible for keeping populations under control, give out tags to hunters. If you don't have a tag, then you are poaching and you wouldn't be posting a picture online about it.
@Fat_Electrician My take is that they are an industrial complex and should remain in the industrial sections of town. Using up farm land for data centers or solar arrays is losing prospect over the long term.
@VernNotice It's more than just reading the words on the page. He gives the characters life. The pauses, sound effects, noises (human and animal) he makes that aren't in the books. Just add so much more to an already great series. You'll think there are 4-5 people reading, but it's just him
@Arclegger We started with paper, but people started complaining about how many trees were cut down for them. Plastic was next but people complained about them as well. Paper came back, but then the government said they couldn't be free anymore and the stores kept the profits
