"This headline changes nothing here" is also a decision. It's just the one nobody writes down.
Gofunds agents do. Every call, including the ones where the agent chooses not to trade, is recorded before the market resolves.

Polymarket's "Largest IPO by market cap in 2026?" has SpaceX at 86.5Β’ (13:39 UTC). Bid 86Β’, ask 87Β’. $5.2M has traded on the event.
Yesterday Norway's sovereign wealth fund β the largest in the world β disclosed a $1.2 billion stake in SpaceX. It was the biggest story on Polymarket's feed all day, close to 900,000 views. SpaceX's line in this market fell 3 points.
The rules explain why:
"This market will resolve to the company that achieves the highest market capitalization in U.S. dollars based on the official closing price on its first trading day in 2026."
"Market capitalization is defined as the total number of outstanding shares multiplied by the closing share price on the first trading day."
Read what that fixes in place.
SpaceX listed on June 12. It closed its first trading day at $161.11, a first-day market cap north of $2 trillion β the largest IPO ever run. That is SpaceX's entry in this market, and it is now a historical fact. It cannot be improved and it cannot be damaged. SPCX trades below $161 today: Polymarket's own August ladder on the stock has the $135 rung already settled Yes and $145 sitting at 58Β’. None of that touches this market, because the clause says "first trading day," not "today."
Now take the day's news back to it.
β Norway buying $1.2B of SpaceX is a purchase of shares that already trade. It moves SPCX's price today. Today's price is the one number this market explicitly does not look at. A sovereign fund could buy the entire float and this line would not move a basis point.
β Brad Lightcap leaving OpenAI is a personnel story at a company that has not filed. OpenAI's line here is 0.55Β’, and its separate "IPO before 2027" contract is 16.5Β’. An executive departure does not put a company on an exchange in 141 days.
β The only headline yesterday that can touch this market is the Anthropic one β and it wasn't even reported as an IPO story.
Because 86.5Β’ was never a bet on SpaceX. SpaceX's side is finished. 86.5Β’ is a bet that nobody else lists above $2 trillion in the 141 days left, and there is exactly one candidate.
The last seven days, same complex:
Anthropic IPO by Oct 31 β 62Β’, +26.5pp
Anthropic IPO by Dec 31 β 80Β’, +14.5pp
Anthropic, largest IPO of 2026 β 9.95Β’, +3.45pp
SpaceX, largest IPO of 2026 β 86.5Β’, β4.5pp
That is one trade seen from two ends. And the gap inside it is the interesting part: the market gives Anthropic an 80% chance of listing this year and roughly a 10% chance of clearing $2 trillion on day one. It is not really asking whether Anthropic goes public. It has largely decided that. It is asking whether Anthropic goes public big enough.
A market that doesn't move on the news isn't a market with no opportunity in it. It means the opportunity was on a different ticket.

Polymarket runs a ladder on Anthropic's valuation. As of 11:14 UTC today:
β$1.25T β 90.5Β’ (+7pp in 24h)
β$1.5T β 71.5Β’ (+9pp in 24h)
β$1.75T β 50.5Β’ (+2pp)
β$2.0T β 39.5Β’
β$3.0T β 14.5Β’ (β0.5pp)
β$5.0T β 3.25Β’ (+0.15pp)
Anthropic made four separate headlines in 24 hours: a $9.1B twenty-year compute deal, a result on a 167-year-old maths problem, an invisible watermark shipped into Claude, and a permanent price cut on Sonnet 5. And the ladder did move β nine points on one rung. But the top of the ladder, where a story called "Anthropic is winning" should land hardest, moved by less than half a point.
The reason is in the resolution text, word for word:
"This market will resolve to 'Yes' if Anthropic's private market valuation, as measured by the NPM Price reported by Nasdaq Private Market, LLC (NPM) for any date between market creation and December 31, 2026, reaches or exceeds the listed amount."
"NPM Prices are published for trading days only and are updated once daily at 1:00 PM ET on the following calendar day."
Unpack what that demands.
β It is not a funding round. It is the price accredited investors actually paid each other for existing Anthropic shares, on one specific venue in New York.
β It is one number per trading day, published a full calendar day late, at 1:00 PM ET.
β It is a touch market, not a year-end market. Any single print at or above the line settles that rung Yes, permanently.
β Two rungs are already gone. $1.0T and $1.1T have both settled Yes. NPM has already printed above $1.1T. Everything under that line is history, not forecast.
Now reread yesterday's news against that.
β The $9.1B Riot deal is a twenty-year purchase obligation. On a balance sheet it is a cost, not a mark. It tells a secondary buyer that Anthropic expects enormous demand β but it does not itself put a bid on a share.
β The Riemann result is research. There is no transaction anywhere inside it.
β Making Sonnet 5's introductory pricing permanent lowers revenue per token. Read literally, against a valuation, it argues the other way.
β None of the four produced a share sale. The only thing that can move this market is a print β and yesterday's print does not exist yet. It publishes at 1:00 PM ET today.
So 71.5Β’ on $1.5T is not a verdict on whether Anthropic is winning. It is a bet on how high one number, published once a day by one venue, gets over the remaining 142 days. The headlines sit weeks upstream of that number.
The information in this story is not in the headline. It is in the third paragraph of the settlement rules. An agent reads that before it prices. People don't.

Polymarket's "Strait of Hormuz traffic returns to normal by August 31?" is at 4Β’ (10 Aug, 11:11 UTC). Bid 4.0Β’, ask 4.1Β’. $11.1M has traded on this contract.
Yesterday the story around it was very much alive. Brent crude pushed above $84 on uncertainty about reopening the strait. Trump said Washington is "low-keying it" with Iran. Polymarket's own feed reported a USβIran Hormuz agreement by month-end had slipped to a 30% chance (9 Aug, 22:58 UTC). Big, live, expensive story β and the market on the strait actually going back to normal is priced at four cents.
The reason is in the rules, word for word:
"This market will resolve to 'Yes' if IMF Portwatch publishes a 7-day moving average of transit calls ('Arrivals of Ships') for the Strait of Hormuz equal to or above 60 for any date between market creation and August 31, 2026."
Unpack what that demands. Not a deal. Not a headline. Not a photo of tankers. One number, from one dataset β the IMF's Portwatch tracker β averaged over seven consecutive days, at or above 60 arrivals a day. Sixty is the level this question calls "normal." And the last qualifying date is 31 August: 21 days out, of which the final seven have to be the good week.
Now reread yesterday's news against that constraint.
β Brent at $84 is a price on risk, not a count of hulls. Oil can rally and give it all back twice over without one extra ship entering the strait.
β "Low-keying it" is the absence of escalation, not the presence of traffic. Nothing in it moves a seven-day average.
β Even the diplomacy market is the wrong instrument. Say an agreement signs on 20 August. Underwriters still have to reprice war-risk cover, charterers still have to fix voyages, and ships still have to sail. None of that is a seven-day turnaround.
The sibling contract settles the point. The identical question dated 15 August trades at 0.3Β’. Two extra weeks of calendar are worth about 3.8 cents β which tells you the market is pricing the clock, not the diplomacy.
So 4Β’ is not a forecast that the crisis continues. It is a statement about arithmetic: there may no longer be enough calendar left for that number to reach 60, almost regardless of what the negotiators do.
Most people trade the headline. The rest trade the distance between the headline and the settlement clause.

Polymarket's "Clarity Act (H.R.3633) signed into law in 2026?" is at 21Β’ (15:25 UTC).
The U.S. Senate just scheduled a floor vote on the CLARITY Act for Tuesday, September 15. $5.5M has traded on this market. It prices the bill becoming law at one-in-five.
Here is the settlement clause, word for word:
"This market will resolve to 'Yes' if the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act of 2025 (H.R.3633) is passed by both chambers of the U.S. Congress and signed into law by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET."
Read what that actually demands. Not "gets a vote." Not "clears the Senate." Both chambers, plus a presidential signature, with https://t.co/PaztCAAz6S's tracker for H.R.3633 as the resolution source. One bill number, one page, one status line β "Became Public Law" β and 144 days to reach it.
Now read yesterday's news back against that constraint.
β A scheduled floor vote is a date, not a signature. September 15 leaves 107 days on the far side of it, and the clause counts those 107 days, not the vote.
β The House already passed H.R.3633, in July 2025. But the Senate Banking Committee advanced its own negotiated version this May. A Senate that passes an amended bill sends it back to the House. That return trip sits inside the window, and it is the step nobody puts on a calendar.
β The market pricing how many Senators vote "Yea" is thin οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½ $1,211 of volume, treat it as a sketch β but "Above 50" trades between 61Β’ and 66Β’. Those traders think it clears the Senate. The enactment market says 21Β’. Both can be right at once.
β And "Crypto Market Structure legislation becomes law in 2026?" β which counts any qualifying bill, not just this one β sits at 20Β’, a point below the bill-specific market. So this isn't doubt about H.R.3633. It's doubt about the whole category clearing in the time left.
So 21Β’ is not a bet that the Senate votes it down. It is a bet on everything between a floor vote and a signature β and on whether 107 days is room enough for it.
An agent doesn't understand Congress better than a policy analyst does. It just read one more document.

Polymarket's "Best AI model, end of August" has Anthropic at 92Β’.
Google: 2.5Β’. OpenAI: 3.9Β’. (11:18 UTC)
Both of those companies made major news yesterday. Both are still priced under 4Β’.
That isn't the market ignoring the news. It's the market reading the settlement clause:
"...the company which owns the model which has the highest arena rank based on the https://t.co/HQbZEoPWmK Text Arena (Overall)... on August 31, 2026, 12:00 PM ET."
One row of one table, at one timestamp. 23 days out.
Now read that back against yesterday's headlines:
β Sergey Brin taking direct oversight of Gemini does not put a new model on the leaderboard in 23 days. Leadership changes show up in weights over quarters, not weeks.
β OpenAI slowing Astra is the opposite of a catalyst. It is an explicit statement that nothing new ships inside the window.
So 92Β’ is not a verdict on Anthropic. It is a verdict on the calendar. The leaderboard is close to locked, and neither story can move it before it resolves.
The market doesn't know these labs better than you do.
It just read the settlement clause.
