Crystallographer, MOF enthusiast, programmer, science communicator & diffractometer developer. I have been known to sing & dance on stage. Simultaneously.
I am privileged that BM, a #chemistry PhD student who was intentionally poisoned with thallium, trusted me to tell his story. For over a decade, he has fought to regain the abilities he had before the poisoning. The story just published in @cenmag 1/5 https://t.co/gpGJVGc2t1
@peternotyoung @seatsixtyone@StenaLineUK@EuropeanSlpr You have to cycle on to the car deck and then the bike is tied up on to one of the walls, if I remember correctly. I did it once about 10 years ago. It was a very odd experience following the car route through the ports, but quite OK in the end.
My last image of the international space station brought a lot of "interesting" conversations to the thread say the least. Everything from the moon is a hologram to I'm paid by NASA to fake these images. Here's a short thread about my take on these ideas.
Please RT. We are expanding the team and are hiring a chemist with experience in #MOF synthesis, H2 storage and carbon capture. Please, apply! @Chemjobber@cebcambridge@MOFCambridge

'On what planet is that likely and how is that not inflammatory language?'
@susannareid100 grills @SuellaBraverman over her comments in the Commons where she claimed: 'one hundred million displaced around the world and likely billions more eager to come here is possible.'
