@HubienGee@utdreport We definitely have, its literally what he was doing all preseason. I actually don't understand why he was dropped - he was our best player up until that point.
I'd suggest signing a marquee Tielemans at £200k p/w probably adds some selection pressure vs a £75k p/w youngster.
@utdreport Honestly shocked at how oblivious Carrick is to this pivot not working. Our midfield gets completely run through game after game. I love Tielemans but he's been pretty poor IMO. Mainoo has been fantastic and needs Santos or Baleba next to him for more defensive solidity.
@HubienGee@utdreport Are you kidding? That's literally Andrey's best attribute. Physically, I would agree, he's not the biggest or the fastest player. But he's unbelievably intelligent and reads the game / snuffs out danger so much quicker than literally anyone else we have in the squad.
@utdreport@SullyTalkz I never understood how he survived the INEOS cuts. He's an absolute muppet, he was a Murtough addition who has done jackshit in 3 years.
@Lionel_Lingard This used to drive me crazy about Ole as well. Passive manager = passive team.
Say what you want about amorim, the football left a lot to be desired but the team always ran.
Carrick plays better football but predictably, the players run less.
@utdreport Midfield was dead for 20mins before Everton's first goal - subs were way too reactionary. Santos should have come on 15 mins earlier, it was so bleedingly obvious we were losing that battle through fatigue.
@colinmufc2 100% agreed. Much better squad than last season without question, and last season was good enough for 3rd even with Amorim shitting the bed for the first half.
Our fans have become the biggest bunch of whingers on X - always complaining about something, it's legit embarrassing.
