The "juveniles" have no fear. They know the police, prosecutor, and courts won't do anything.

Over the last 7 years, it feels like each IMPD chief has been softer than the last:

• Randall Taylor — soft during the riots.
• Chris Bailey — publicly pleading with juveniles to behave.
• Tanya Terry — telling the public to help raise other people's kids.

Indianapolis doesn't need another lecture.

It needs strong leadership, accountability, and someone willing to draw a line.

Today I am announcing that I am suspending the gas tax again.

I am suspending the Gasoline Usage Tax and the Gasoline Excise Tax.

This will save Hoosiers more than 62 cents per gallon.

Hoosiers now have the cheapest gas in the country, and I will continue to use every tool available to make life more affordable for Hoosier families.
