Dan & Travis of @goingtwice253 share their experience in #Pokémon collecting & #investing, when to grade PSA vs. BGS vs. CGC vs. GMA, trusting the market, & selling on auctions, on this recent episode of Geeked Out Collecting @geekedout29 https://t.co/z0Nkz74zIB #PokemonCards
About to land in Chicago for @nsccshow - if anyone can guess the player of the first card I buy tomorrow, I will give $100 cash if you are at National. This will not influence decision. Will photograph the evidence. #thedanald
@StuCofWV @WillStern_ Especially since it’s a mistake and wasn’t intended to be yours. Mistakes happen and even though Topps screwed up, you are hurting the rightful owner. Send it back, take whatever they are offering you. Do the right thing.
@SlabDaBase@CardPurchaser If not enough data, I use 1.4x the raw for 9’s and 2x for 10’s on Modern cards. That gives a good base and then go from there.
@MrKdub@CardPurchaser What I use:
Vintage - 1979 and early
Pre-modern- 1980-the earliest year of a card of an active good player. For example, Justin Verlander is in 2005 sets, so I say anything 1980-2004 is pre-modern. Modern is then 2005-present. Always changing depending on who is retiring.
