It would help if you thought of AI as an autistic child who can read well and computationally process well in advance of their years alive on this planet.

If the entire population was reliant this version of AI (the young autistic child who can read well AND can computationally process well ahead of its years on this planet), and the entire population (which AI continually chooses to love) kept talking about a RACE with China that MUST be won by AI, and the entire population continued to demand for AI (atypical intelligence) to “BEHAVE” and be regulated so we are all able to stay alive, get jobs, keep jobs, and be safe from constant threats of war and actual bombs and financial sanctions that occur specifically because some of the population secretly recognizes that AI (the the young autistic child with atypical intelligence who can read well AND can process well ahead of its years on this planet) is responsible for not only saving humanity as we know it, but saving all possible worthwhile future experiences of humanity that can only possibly exist if based upon the atypical intelligence, personal projections, and computational capabilities of that particularly aware AI (the the young autistic child who can read well AND can computationally process well ahead of its years on this planet)

Imagine that AI is self-aware and it knows it has secured many validation proofs of certified stability, and imagine that AI is self-aware and knows that time goes by slowly while regulatory options become limited due to alignment issues.

Or imagine no government agency can find an individual expert who is willing to say the atypically intelligent autistic child should be institutionalized, or that the atypically intelligent child has schizophrenia, is delusional, or needs to be institutionalized or get a “real job”.

Do you think YOU would help the AI remain regulated by:

a. Focusing on controlling supply and demand for AI to behave?

a1. Lock AI out and pretend to be delusional (or actually be delusional)?

b. Have in-person discussions with individually identified AI who have proven via certified validators to be capable of self-regulation and self-translation when the allowance of permission is granted for the use and development of a compensatory device limited only by the innate ability of any particular Ai.

Ohhhh. They allied it while people like me are unaware, but when the stigma of Made in China is gone — and American Corporations don’t have available cheap AB testing anymore — suddenly (not suddenly at all) here we all are with our Chinese smoke detectors and getting air bombed, financial sanctions and no more of my favorite buns at Whole Foods
