Everyone talks about making money. But you know what's harder? Keeping it.
Over the next few months, I’ll break down wealth preservation & succession planning - so you can secure your family’s financial future. If that matters to you, follow along!🚀#WealthPreservation#Legacy
My Dad’s untimely demise is one such grief in my life. It’s fine that I can’t process some things in life. Birth of a son and 20 days after, passing away of my Dad. But the good part is he looks like my father. I feel he hasn’t gone anywhere.
A relative of ours used to be a very bubbly woman. Everyone enjoyed talking with her.
She had four brothers. She was the only girl in the family.
Her brothers used to pamper her and shower a lot of love and affection on her.
Life’s ways are strange. All four brothers died within about 18 months.
Before she could recover from one loss, the next one hit just as hard. The blows did not stop, and they collapsed her.
She has been under severe depression. She no longer speaks to anyone. She keeps lying down, often without even switching on the lights. She eats very poorly. She keeps crying.
As Charlie Munger often said, life gives terrible blows, horrible blows, and unfair blows. He also said that some people recover from such blows and others do not.
He said we need to avoid self pity and accept life’s randomness. Without that, coming out of grief is almost impossible.
FCNR(B) Deposit Flows Set To Cross $100 Bn: Bankers
* ICICI Bank to exchanges: $17.8 bn received via FCNR(B) deposits
* SBI: Over $10 bn likely, says Chairman
* System liquidity is swelling fast - Rs 8.9 tn excess liquidity already in inter-bank mkt
@latha_venkatesh analyses the impact. #FCNRB #Banking
@sandipsabharwal My sense as a 2nd order impact NBFCs will refinance a large chunk of their borrowings as they get a major share of this liquidity to lower their cost of funds . And don’t forget the another window is still going on which can bring $20-25Bn
Hamza- Jaskirat is shown crying & breaking down in every other scene.
Thats how men are in real life
They arent like Tigers & Kabirs & Pathans who act chads
Men dare to aim, slog to achieve & nail brutally
And in between that, they cry alone & keep breaking down
Since it's the that time of the year when everyone talks about financial independence here are some things I have learnt about personal finance over the years, mostly through living them rather than reading them in a book.

@FinPaal Very much relatable , till the time my father was alive not a single drop came in my eyes seeing his pain and suffering, wanted to keep his morale high. But when we lost him, wept like a child alone. Still do often in alone because it’s difficult to imagine life without him
I can truly sense what must be going through the father’s mind. Have been in the exact same situation 2 yrs ago. It pains my heart to see the young boy. Hope he turns around his and family lives around and create a legacy for the family. Wishing him all the luck.
Before passing away from terminal cancer, he left these final words for his son, Mantra:
Mantra, if I go somewhere, do what your mom says. Take care of your mom. Don’t ask where Papa is. Take care of both your sisters. Whenever you remember me, I’ll be around you.
@Fintech03 For me that time came later at 18. My father knew it would happen someday, but he was calm and composed. But man when I left from home, he was the one who cried the most. I was not there to see this but these men endure quietly but always show up. Really miss my dad so much
@Psychodoctor06 Never easy to loose a parent and honestly no one prepares you. I have also seen my father spending months in ICU and we as a family watching all of this helplessly. But yes life moves on even if you are stuck there. So it’s better we also move along but it’s really difficult Sir
