Terra wallet incident: What you need to know 👀

@phoenix_dir has shared a report on the recent Terra wallet incident. Here are the main points.

• The issue came from an older version of Terra Station Desktop that may have made some wallet seed phrases vulnerable.

• Hundreds of wallets appear to be affected. Around 8M $LUNA had already been moved, with another 10M LUNA being unstaked.

• Terra passed an emergency upgrade to restrict transactions from identified affected wallets and attacker-linked addresses.

• The restricted funds haven’t been seized or transferred. What happens to them next will be decided through Terra Governance.

• If you created your seed phrase using the old desktop app, move your funds to a new wallet with a completely new seed phrase. If you’re unsure, it’s safer to do the same.

One important thing: Never share your seed phrase or private key with anyone.

The investigation is still ongoing, and the recovery process hasn’t been finalized yet.
