7 Jews from France were surrounded by a crowd at the Barcelona port and subjected to antisemitic chants, spitting, and humiliation for about 40 minutes.

A woman displaying Free Palestine symbols shouted at them, and other people later joined her.

Jimmy Zagron, one of the Jews who was attacked, said that at first the chants were "Free Palestine." Later the chants became more antisemitic, such as "baby killers," "Jews are not welcome here," "Zionists are not welcome here,” and "Death to Israel.”

"There was an enormous crowd of people around us," he said.

They tried to clarify that they were French, not Israeli, but it made no difference.

The attack comes after another similar attack in which a Jewish group was chased in Barcelona.

🛑NEW DETAILS about the disappearance of Israeli mother and daughter Mali and Liel Yahalomi:

Police entered the Vienna apartment where they had been staying and found that their belongings were gone ; suggesting they had already packed and left.

Their final message to the family on Friday read: “We’ve arrived at the apartment ,look how cool it is. Shabbat Shalom, everyone.”

Since then, there has been no trace of them: no phone location, credit-card activity or confirmed camera footage. They also failed to board their scheduled flight home to Israel on Tuesday night.

Reuven Timsit, a Chabad emissary in Vienna, warned that “Because Europe’s borders are open, search teams fear they may no longer be in Austria and could be in another country where no one is currently looking for them”

Bar Asraf, 30, a survivor of the Nova Festival massacre, took his own life last night on the grave of his girlfriend.
His partner, Liron Barda, was murdered by Hamas on October 7, 2023.

Since that day, Bar had been living with unbearable pain and grief.

Abdul Ballout was born in Berlin, but he left Germany for Lebanon.

Germany identified him as an Islamist threat, so they had him arrested in Lebanon and FLEW HIM BACK TO GERMANY to put him on trial for plotting terror attacks.

He was convicted and sentenced for terrorism offences in May 2026 but released on time served.

By July 2026 he was back on the streets.

German authorities told him to attend de-radicalisation counselling sessions.

He responded by carrying out a jihadist terrorist attack on a pride parade.

Mayor Mamdani did not simply express a personal political opinion. He used the authority, symbolism, and credibility of the mayor’s office to issue what amounted to an official public address declaring that the democratically elected leader of the world’s only Jewish state is a ‘war criminal’ who is ‘not welcome in New York City.’ That is a profound misuse of the office entrusted to him by all New Yorkers.

After acknowledging that New York City has no independent legal authority to execute the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrant, the mayor nevertheless chose to transform that legal reality into a televised political spectacle. Respect for the separation of powers and the legal limits of public office is a bedrock of American democracy; those limits should not be treated as an inconvenience to be exploited for political theater.

Perhaps most telling was what the mayor chose to leave out. His address made no mention of Hamas or the October 7 massacre of innocent civilians. Instead, he delivered a sweeping moral indictment of Israel while erasing the terrorist atrocities that ignited this war. Appeals to universal humanity and justice ring hollow when they exclude the victims whose suffering does not fit a preferred political narrative.

This is no longer simply about Prime Minister Netanyahu. It reflects a broader pattern in which Mayor Mamdani repeatedly singles out Israel while using the prestige of his office to legitimize rhetoric that further isolates the Jewish state and deepens division here at home. At a time when Jewish New Yorkers are experiencing alarming levels of antisemitism, harassment and intimidation, they deserve a mayor who refrains from fomenting hatred against the world’s only Jewish country while maintaining the fiction that this is not anti-Jewish.

Throughout his campaign, Mayor Mamdani repeatedly insisted that his responsibility as mayor would be to focus on New York City and the issues affecting New Yorkers. New Yorkers elected him to make their neighborhoods safer, combat hate and unite a diverse city, not to conduct foreign policy or transform City Hall into a stage for ideological declarations about world leaders.

New Yorkers elected a mayor, not a prosecutor of foreign leaders. Mayor Mamdani should spend less time trying to demonize only one leader and one country from City Hall and more time protecting the New Yorkers he was elected to serve.

Not only were they murdered, baby Kfir and 5-year-old Ariel were strangled to death by hand after they were kidnapped into Gaza on October 7.
