14 CAUSES OF TRADER LOSSES.
1. Not having a specific trading plan/strategy leads to confusion in shaping trading
2. Not positioning yourself before entering the market leads to misconfiguration right from the start
3. The analysis is not standard according to the self-study method
4. Good analysis but judgment and actions are like lol (weak psychology)
5. Go big compared to your account's tolerance => need to manage capital!
6. Rushing into an order leads to choosing an inappropriate entry, always wanting to find an entry point.
7. Negative DCA, DCA against the trend, when wrong but still hopeful, continuously stuffing orders.
8. Raise vol after losing orders. (need to control your psychology)
9. Too many commands at the same time. (Only 1 command at a time, maximum 2 commands for easy control)
10. Expectations are too high, profits are not locked in, prices turn around and are afraid to cut losses, a chain of consecutive actions leading to account depletion.
11. Not being decisive in stopping losses, if the loss is small and not cutting until the loss is too much, it will lead to burning the account
12. Cramming in too much knowledge, not understanding its uses and not knowing how to use it, leading to signal interference and not being able to analyze trends when looking at charts.
13. Knowing too much leads to seeing obstacles everywhere you look, not being able to make profits, and trying to make losses is limitless, causing disastrous trading results.
14. Being impatient, not waiting for clear signals.

FINRA’s 2024 Report Highlights Emergence of Crypto-Related Compliance Risks 📣

🟥 American self-regulatory body, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), has added crypto considerations for companies to its annual oversight report, released Tuesday. The regulator has directed firms to pay more attention on the growing crypto-related compliance risks. Additionally, it urged firms to heighten their due diligence on activities involving digital assets.

💬 “Member firms seeking to engage in crypto asset-related activity should identify and address the relevant regulatory and compliance challenges and risks.”

➡️ FINRA acts under the regulation of the US SEC and mandates membership to all firms dealing in securities broker-dealers. The self-regulatory organization (SRO) has asked its member firms to have their crypto securities business line assessed by FINRA to ensure it meets all rules stipulated by the SEC.

Top 10 localities attracting the largest FDI investment
According to data from the Foreign Investment Department, Ministry of Planning and Investment, accumulated by the end of 2023, Vietnam has attracted 39,140 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects, with a total registered capital of 468.917 billion USD; Among them, 10 localities attract the most (cumulative) FDI, including:
1. City. Ho Chi Minh: 12,398 projects, total registered capital of 57.632 billion USD, accounting for 31.67% of the total number of FDI projects in the country and nearly 13% of the total registered capital invested in Vietnam.
2. Hanoi: 7,363 projects, total registered capital of 41.170 billion USD, accounting for 18.8% of total projects and 8.77% of total registered FDI capital.
3. Binh Duong: 4,217 projects and 40.4 billion USD, accounting for 10.7% of total projects and 8.6% of total registered FDI capital.

VanEck Commits to Donating 5% of BTC ETF Profits to Bitcoin Developers at Brink 📣

➡️ Asset manager VanEck, a potential provider of a Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF), has revealed plans to donate a portion of the profits from the investment vehicle to Bitcoin core developers upon approval.

🔴 In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on January 5, VanEck announced a 5% pledge to Bitcoin core developers through the nonprofit organization Brink ahead of potential approval for its spot Bitcoin exchange-traded product application. The asset management firm also disclosed that it had already made a $10,000 donation to the developers, irrespective of the SEC’s decision on the investment vehicle.

🔔 The firm expressed appreciation for the developers’ dedication to decentralization and innovation, describing them as the cornerstone of the Bitcoin ecosystem.
