The north metro will always be special to me, and I'll always support those who feel as strongly about making it a more welcoming, sustainable, and just community for everyone.
The past few months have brought a number of changes and decisions in my life, including starting a new job and moving back to Saint Paul.
I also decided against running for Arden Hills City Council again.
This is magnified in the suburbs where participation in political and civic life is skewed towards wealthy homeowners/families and retirees.

Upper Midwest folks: Red River Women’s Clinic in Fargo (where abortion is now illegal) is moving across the border to Moorhead, MN (where it is legal). They need funds to make that happen if you’re looking for ways to help. https://t.co/M67eELQnmE
This afternoon I attended a fundraiser at St. Katherine Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Arden Hills to show solidarity with Minnesota's Ukrainian community. I was proud of the outpouring of support for our neighbors and the people of Ukraine.
I'm excited to announce that I'm running again for Arden Hills City Council. I'm eager to get to work advocating for a more welcoming, sutainable, and just community.

It’s not often you here me say these words on air, but if ever there was a time to invoke the term, it’s now. “This is a climate emergency”. @CoveringClimate@ClimateCentral@jeffnesbit@mmfa
Today, @GovTimWalz announced a timeline to end Minnesota’s COVID-19 restrictions.
Reaching the state's 70% vaccination benchmark means vaccinating a further 473,000 Minnesotans. If you haven't done so already, make your vaccine appointment today at https://t.co/7F8I2DHH2Z.
