🎬BENGALI FILMMAKER GOUTAM GHOSE BECOMES THE FIRST INDIAN TO JOIN GLOBAL GOVERNANCE COUNCIL🌍

Renowned Bengali filmmaker Goutam Ghose has been appointed to the Gold Mercury Council, becoming the first Indian to join the principal governing body of the London-based Gold Mercury International, an institution dedicated to advancing Visionary Governance.

🌟 Why is this significant?
🔹 Founded in 1961, Gold Mercury International brings together global leaders, scientists, policymakers, business leaders and cultural figures to address some of the world's most pressing challenges through dialogue and strategic foresight.

🔹 Ghose has also been invited to contribute to the organisation's Artificial Intelligence Task Force, where his decades of cinematic experience will help shape discussions on the future of AI, creativity and culture.

🎥 A Vision for AI & Storytelling:
Speaking on the appointment, Goutam Ghose advocated a balanced approach to artificial intelligence—embracing it as a powerful creative tool while ensuring that human imagination, emotion and storytelling remain at the heart of filmmaking.

From creating internationally acclaimed cinema to contributing to global conversations on AI, culture and governance, Goutam Ghose continues to bring immense pride to West Bengal and India.

Congratulations to Goutam Ghose on this prestigious international recognition!
