In a world where traditional networks are increasingly exposed, resilient and secure connectivity is no longer optional...it’s mission-critical.
A fundamental shift is underway in how governments and defense organizations connect, operate, and protect their data. Rivada’s #Outernet redefines what’s possible: a private satellite network delivering secure, low-latency, point-to-point connectivity—without ever touching the public internet, ground infrastructure, or third-party networks.
Built for the demands of modern defense, it enables truly sovereign communications on a global scale. Learn more at https://t.co/5g2UI9Y5dn.
Colt operates the largest fibre optic communications network in Europe and operates several of the world’s most important Subsea cables. Watch this to hear about how Rivada and Colt are teaming up to bring Rivada’s #Outernet to Colt’s capabilities for their own business customers. While due to its exclusive ‘B to B’ focus, Colt isn’t a consumer brand name, you probably use their infrastructure every day. Big changes are coming with Rivada’s Outernet:
@declanganley Saw those young entrepreneurs grow and spread their wings. It’s a great idea and makes a lot of sense. Must be Delia‘s dna that made them move😊. Good luck and tons of success
I have to point out (please excuse me), that for years I have warned about the immense vulnerability of our subsea cable infrastructure. I have done so in this twitter/X forum. I have also led an enormous effort and mobilised hundreds of millions (and fast growing) of *private* capital from trusted investors to provide a real solution, the space based #Outernet, that will enable vital communications to survive such attacks if, as and when they escalate. I lead a focused, determined and highly qualified and experienced team that has designed and engineered the Rivada #Outernet solution. I have done so through a barrage of well over 100 lawsuits & other efforts sponsored by Communist China with the intention of destroying the mission and killing the capability before it is deployed. I am immensely grateful to the U.S. Navy for their recognition of the significance of this capability, and to those large enterprises in the free world that have documented demand and their need for this capability to the scale of 14 billion (and quickly growing) of capacity demand. European governments have been asleep at the wheel, even the EU Commission has (hopefully temporarily) been captured by dinosaur vested interests for a giant boondoggle called IRIS2 that will suck up billions of European taxpayers cash to provide something that will not be deployed for years and that if it ever is deployed, will be massively over budget and tragically out of date. It will be too late when you understand that the ‘enemy’ has a say in timing. So for Europe, look to Munich, and the brilliant work that Rivada has done and is doing to provide a secure communications solution that can keep vital communications up and running even if Europe’s enemies cut many or all of our subsea cables (and there are alarmingly few subsea cables and even fewer resources to quickly repair or replace them).
There’s a welcome acknowledgment that there are people using the Irish asylum laws who are actually economic migrants. Having been the child and grandchild and great grandchild of economic migrants and also having been one myself, I am highly empathetic to economic migration, which is necessary and which I understand. However, this is not what the *asylum* system is for. We need to be able to choose who gets in as an economic migrant. You should come, work, pay in, for multiple years. You don’t get to collect money or free anything as a ‘right’ as soon as you get here.

The @RivadaSpace#Outernet is different in design architecture and performance, the result is a system that will be the world’s first fully self contained fully global communications network. Rivada and Peraton release:
“We are committed to delivering state-of-the-art technology solutions to the US government,” said Chris Valentino, chief innovation officer at Peraton. “By tapping into a truly independent global network, we can offer a new level of security, performance and global reach.”
Here in London at the #DISC Conference with members of my @rivadaspace team to present and discuss the coming #Outernet and its game changing advantages for global high speed, ultra secure and resilient communications.
I had my engineering team retrieve the detailed (2016) coverage map for the coverage @RivadaNetworks had built in for its proposed FirstNet public safety communications network. The one that was turned down. I asked my engineering leads to show me what coverage had been planned for Butler PA, the site of the assassination attempt. And there it is, a full Rivada ruthless preemption interoperable site with 5 bars plus of coverage within 100 meters of where Fmr President Trump stood. Closer even than the shooter was. Had it been deployed, that murder and mayhem would not have been able to happen. For anyone that doubts the coverage map’s authenticity, I am willing to open it up to qualified experts to verify that this is as submitted in 2016. Furthermore, it’s not just coverage, it’s also the capability that came with that coverage and the price it was being made available at.
Honestly, reading this makes my blood boil. There is a much bigger story here. A story of how corruption and regulatory capture caused failures that got one man killed and a Presidential front runner almost assassinated. Who has the balls to run the story?

Kudos to the @FT for being on top of this. It is only a matter of time before we see attacks that include major subsea cable sabotage and that could take down the internet. As followers of this account will already know, @RivadaSpace is bringing the space based #outernet to provide a global communications solution that will completely avoid subsea cables and the associated vulnerabilities:

Of course in reading the article, it's plain to see that @rivadaspace@RivadaNetworks is not 'killing the Internet', we are providing a high speed, low latency, small attack surface and entirely separate alternative to it. The world's first completely self contained truly global communications network. It is supplemental to the internet & for enterprise and government users that require the added speed, security, lower latency, an alternative to it. However, it is not 'killing the internet', that is obviously not the mission.
