My fellow indians want to pretend that this is only 1 behavior among many.

My parents live in a middle class condominium area disportionately filled with older indians on the East Coast near the ocean

Those indians love to feed & provide water for the birds, so the entire area has become a nest for seagulls.

The same seagulls who start endlessly squaking at 5 am in the morning to 8 pm at night for more half the year.

And no amount of telling them to stop has worked.

The whites are complaining about a legitimate catastrophic societal level destructive issue, but they don't understand the full picture. but they can instinctively "feel" it(& the sheer magnitude of the issue) so they try to look for pieces which alone by itself often looks petty like cheating on tests.

This will sound harsh to my fellow indians but there is largely no easy way to say this.

What whites are really complaining about is the natural adaptation of the system against the foreign substance that is the indians and thier culture.

There is a post that I wrote, which every Indian who feels unfair about all this anti-indian hate should read because it's more than these small things. It about how the society naturally adapts to these "small things" that is more catastrophicly self-destructive on a societal level because once it happens, there is no fix to it. Which is why India is unsalvageably broken, because it is the end result of this natural adaptation.

After you read it, think of it this way.
A long time ago, a high school degree meant something. Today it means nothing & was replaced by a college degree

A system is a self-aware entity. If cheating occurs en mass, it will try to adapt & correct by finding alternatives. But if cheating continues after exhausting all alternatives, eventually the system itself will wall off that opportunity so that even if it exists, it becomes inaccessible.

The resulting system is a hardened exploit resistant system in which many opportunities cannot be accessed because those are the ones most likely & easily to be exploited.

The degree inflation issue above. What happens after a doctorate degree becomes meaningless?

No it's not true. I am also an (just more self-aware) American Indian, and I entirely object to the behaviors of my fellow co-ethnics who "excel" using immoral methods, because that is not meritocracy.

Will, I respect you quite a lot because you are a semi self-aware black man, but you are wrong about the indians. You dont believe that indians excel because they "scam" alot but it is honest bitter truth. You think this because your idea of "scaming" is the western concept where scam means a narrowly defined illegal behavior but in reality there are vast areas of behaviors and choices that fall under scaming & cheating that are actually various shades of grey.

Immoral but not illegal.
Illegal only if caught.
Illegal only if procescuted after getting caught.

Behaviors that are individually profitable but catastrophically self-destructive on a societal level the more you scale up. But because it is individually profitable, everyone ends up doing it which then becomes the norm which is then unfairly disadvantagous if the individual doesn't do it.

Even no-consequences but still immoral behaviors like falsifying information on applications & resumes only work in high trust western societies because whites systemically don't do this behavior, which is how they created the high trust prosperous society

Indians mass commit this stuff to individually profit while blaming the system for allowing them exploit the system or justifying it with nonsense like everyone else does it too. Tragically, indians see whites as naive/gullible and thus falsely believe themselves to be superior, because they themselves would never create such a easy to cheat system.

If you ask the individual indians, they will admit that the whites are naive and gullible for creating an economic system in which it is so easy to exploit. And if you ask them what they themselves would create, they would shameless state how they would design a "prosperous" exploit resistant system that even their fellow indians could not cheat, completely unable to make the connection to why India is the unsalvageable dumpster that it is today

Westerners mistake why india is a broken & poor society. Logically, the 4th largest economy and 2nd most populous country India has no shortage of hard working or truly intelligent people, who contribute to the economy, pay taxes, etc. all the same characteristics that everyone says are the building blocks of prosperous society.

Yet India remains poor even today, in which the society building questions have already been answered & showcased by thier neighbor China. Why? Because India's economic system has over time naturally adapted by hardening itself into an exploit resistant economic system to prevent systemic scamming and cheating by its native population.

An adaptation done by literally removing/walling off economic opportunities for those are the ones most easily exploitable by its narcasistic people.

The same opportunities that are responsible for the West's prosperity, but are only allowed because the whites do not systemically try to exploit the system.

And now you are seeing this hardening adaptation slowly occur(but accelerating) today in the USA in every industry that have relatively high indian participation rate like Tech & Healthcare, far more than high paying industries with a relatively low Indian participation. This all despite absolute share of indians is at most 1/3 in SC & far less everywhere else, yet you will see the same hardening everywhere.

And it will spread because indians won't change their behavior because it is individually profitable and society as a whole can't stop them because almost all of it is non-criminal or unprosecuteble even if criminal & caught, just deeply immoral.

If the whites import more indians and allow the indians act like indians, everyone(including the indians themselves) will have to watch the economic system adapt by hardening itself, beyond repair.

What India really needs is a dictator like China had who is willing to execute a 100 million of them for even petty crimes, so they live in constant fear for a few generations, to prevent them from doing anything that could accidently irritate someone powerful enough to execute them.

In self-destructive behavior like this, the Chinese were historically very similar, but is was largely mitigaged through a key event that occured.

People criticize Mao for his genocide, but that genocide became the foundation of the modern 2nd world superpower because the average uncivilized Chinese person became a civilized human being out of fear. The average Chinese person who would normally publically litter suddenly stopped littering because they became fearful that a Chinese official in a bad mood or out of boredom would catch them doing it and sentence/execute them for it.

Ironically when you have you neighbors spying on you, constantly tattling on each other for even the pettiest sins, much less sinister made up malicious ones, it incentivizes you to be on your best behavior 24/7 unless you wanted someone to announce that they saw you litter(or any other crime) during the next struggle sessions and the consequences of it.

Will, you don't want to hear this but "helping strangers" is literally a white high-trust cultural phenomenon.

Universal in third world cultures, payment is expected, even if not stated. If you assist it & payment is not provided, it generally leads to more problems, even if your a nice person who didn't even want payment.

Others(including your own family) will look at you like your a naive person and try to cheat/steal from you. Hence, many just don't do it, even if they are nice people who don't even want payment to assist.

This is why if you go to India, if you are nice & polite, literally everyone including the retail clerks will try to take advantage of your politeness by adding items & "charges" which they won't remove unless you cause a big scene & dramatically threaten to ruin their life by calling their boss, finding thier house, filing a police report.

I'm not kidding. And this also applies to western raised indians who are also raised to be polite & the older generations(who self-delude themselves) who don't tell them anything because they largely can't be honest why India is a broken country.

It's super fucking weird because in third world countries, being "polite" is a weakness, and the very act of fake threatening the above is also deeply self-humiliating, so they just avoid it.

There is significant bleed over of this third world culture even in the USA today which has become normalized, so this is how you get these outcomes.

It's like how you see in the public transport, very few will ask other travelers to move their bags so they can sit for in fear of a 10% chance of them not doing it & instead escalating into some sort of conflict, so they just don't do it even if they understand 9 out 10 times they will just move their bags.

I actually wrote another post to one of Will's earlier posts as well clarifying further regarding the "scamming" Indian culture, but in the end chose not to post it, but I'll add it here as it may be relevant

it's really hard to understand/explain to non-indians that Indian high achievement really originates from "scamming", even if it doesn't look like scamming from their results, but I will try.

First, indians aren't assimilating. Westerners are interpreting assimulation as paying taxes, low official criminality rates, etc, which is more a reflection of the relatively low bar that other minorities fail to achieve.

Assimulation should instead be interpreted as continuing the system that allowed the West to be prosperous, which Indians can't really do because in practice, their behavior will act like cancer just like it does in india.

Your also mistaken about high Indian intelligence. We do have high intelligence but it's not the same as westerner's idea of high intelligence. The reason why Indians are high achievers is because we have a culture of cheating the system. Our culture incentivizes us to look for "weaknesses" in the system to exploit. In Indian culture, the smartest members are the ones who are able to do this most successfully in the long run.

It sound bad in theory but in practice, to effectively cheat the system, they have to actually "understand" the system in order to successfully cheat it...

The irony is that the desire to cheat the system often results in them understanding the system better than anyone else making the need to cheat mostly moot because now they can just compete using their actual understanding...

It's sounds illogical but Indians' high intelligence towards any subject generally follows this path. It's not intuitive & most Indians don't consciously realize they are doing it, but they go their entire lives doing exactly this.

On a individual scale, the individual Indian is perceived to be really smart because he has such a relatively high understanding/competence.

But when you scale it up to a group level with many such indians, the origin motivator always shows up.

Hence the strangeness of industries with disportionately high Indian participation such as Tech & Healthcare where it cannot be denied that there is high individual competence amongst Indian workers, yet the entire industry is ripe with blatantly open levels of fraud also driven by indians...

Essentially all indians started with the same desire to "scam", but some became truly competent in the process, while others only learn the system enough to sucessfully scam it.

And if you scale it even further to a societal level, well then you get India as it is, which many see as a dysfunctional third world society but should more accurately be seen as a society with a hardened exploit resistant system that intentionally walls off opportunities(that exists but become inaccessible) to prevent systemic exploitation.

This is why it's dangerous to import indians en mass. The more indians you have, the more the system must & will adapt by hardening itself from being exploited.

& there is no way to fix this "problem". It's shameful to admit, but the art of sucessfully scamming/cheating requires a high level of intelligence. It's a problem that results from when people are smart with no morals to restrain themselves when given opportunities to profit from (objectively) immoral actions because they have an accurate understanding of the low risk of getting caught and/or outcomes even if you do get caught.

Essentially the indians on a individual level are engaging in constant 24/7 game theory driven choices.

It's why Indian mass engage in immoral non-criminal behaviors like application/resume fraud, which whites do not.

Obviously everyone else will have to do it just to compete but the resulting society with not be a pleasant one, as you can see from India.

As an indian myself, born & raised in the USA, instead I would ask you are they wrong? Have you considered listening to their criticism and taking the time and effort to truly reflect on their criticism and thus change your behavior at any point in time in the last several decades?

Truly, who cares if the american rightoids complain about the indians and thier narcassitic behaviors, the exact same behaviors that indians in India complain endlessly about other indians for why India cannot have nice things.

The strange part is that the vast majority of indians have this narcissistic belief system that because they pay taxes and contribute to the economy, it weirdly absolves you of any criticism.

Completely oblivious to their main complaint of where all of us indians treat this country that they call home as an economic opportunity to systemically extract resources from, regardless of how immoral the methods are.

Despite us being radically different(especially in religion) and almost guaranteed to be poor, they accepted us(and our family into their already wealthy country) and paid probably over a million dollars in welfare + opportunity cost of 20-30 years to raise and educate every brown kid with public funds, implemented DEI measures to prevent other whites from discriminating against you at the expense of their own kids(because they actually listened to your endless complaints when you all said that whites are racists and discriminate against you for jobs, education, etc)

And despite the objective reality of all this being true, the only response to their generosity and understanding & refusal to address any of their criticisms for several decades was labeling them racists because the minorities(including the indians) use it as a magic cheat code that allows them to systemically extract resources from their "economic opportunity zone" to an objectively unsustainable level
