Day 34 of SR 2607240040001170, @AzureSupport@MSFTPartner@satyanadella. Still nothing.
- Public promises of contact, made right here on Aug 18: 2
- Contacts received: 0
- Emails answered since Aug 17: 0
- Errors admitted: 0
Let me be precise about what Azure support is in 2026. It is not slow. It is a wall. Every email gets a template that ignores the email. Escalation means a new name repeating the previous template. Promises made here in public are worth exactly as much as the ones made in the ticket: nothing. There is no person at Microsoft you can reach who reads, decides, or answers.
Azure billing support is outsourced to a contractor signing as "Mindtree Limited". That is who answers for Microsoft now. Apparently nobody at Microsoft checks what they answer. Nobody cares.
I don't care about the missing credit right now. I want someone at Microsoft to be accountable for this. 15 years on Azure taught me that used to exist.
Dear @AzureSupport@MSFTPartner@satyanadella:
Azure support is not support. It's pure trolling.
25 days with Azure support, nothing solved, SR 2607240040001170.
* Days until first response: 14
* Days without solving anything: 25
* Direct questions answered since: 0
* Exhibits attached to the ticket they engaged with: 0 of 6
* Times they prescribed the same "fix": 3
* What following it actually did: new charges
* Times their Technical Lead recommended the exact step I had already performed six days earlier: 1
* Times they confirmed in writing that our credit is "active and valid": 3
* People at Microsoft able to say where that credit actually is: 0
* Errors admitted: -1
Behind these numbers: Microsoft converted our two-day-old Partner Program credit subscription to Pay-As-You-Go because a different, unrelated credit expired. Everything since is the list above and in SR.
15 years on Azure. This is what partner support looks like today.
The case file is ready for anyone at Microsoft who actually reads. DMs open.

@robert_zubrin It's like comparing who's better by number of crashes to Mars, you can do better than that. E.g., NY has more deaths per day (23% of all US deaths) than some comparable EU countries in total. This is't good metric for comparison of healthcare systems (I'm both American and EU).
