@WolffGolfStreet@TexasAce0328@letitflye Calling the PGA Tour “control” is just lazy framing. Every pro sport—NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, even the ATP Tour—has rules, schedules, and media rights. That’s not corruption, it’s a league. You want to let everyone be YouTubers/content creators instead of being on a pro circuit.
@WolffGolfStreet@TexasAce0328@letitflye So what exactly is your solution here? Scrap the PGAT and just have golfers become full-time YouTubers? Every pro sports league protects media rights. Acting like pro golf should just be content creators filming vibes instead of an actual competitive league is beyond unserious
@WolffGolfStreet@TexasAce0328@letitflye You’re redefining “meritocracy” to mean “no consequences for leaving.” Brooks chose LIV and the tradeoffs that came with it. He still gets major exemptions because of merit so clearly merit still matters.
@jtibbs13@ProGolfCritic Great point. ‘We’re in the best shape ever’ quotes and scheduled events don’t answer the actual question of long term sustainability and how independent the model is without PIF. Him dismissing that as 🐑 accounts isn’t analysis, it’s avoiding the question.
@BenjaminSolak@jack_sperry This guy fails to mention anything about his receiving core. Rodge was throwing to MVS, Thielen, Miller, Austin last two games. Didn’t have a number two all year and DK is not a beat a guy at the line type of guy. With what he had around him, he was very good.
@CBKylePagan @Bill_Michaels@WiscoGrant it’s okay to talk about the kicker today even though Bill doesn’t want to hear about the kicker who’s been injured for 3 weeks now and told ESPN he finally feels good this week but clearly didn’t look that way last night.
@WiscoGrant Will Bill say it’s not about the money on Monday? Ohtani is a cheat code. You can’t compete with that. Better pitching better talent not beatable in the postseason without comparable payrolls. Salary cap is needed
@MikWit92@JacobMorley Watson is most definitely not a first round receiver. Most uncoordinated catcher of the ball I’ve seen and is a bandaid. Also they could have drafted Tee Higgins in 2020 and maybe get Love in 2nd round.
@MikWit92@JacobMorley lol maybe but when you see a trend for that long of not making these type of moves it’s not hard to not to connect the dots. Didn’t draft a first round WR since 2002 till this year and now trade for the best defensive player in the league and make him the highest paid non qb ever
@RossUglem These moves don’t happen under Murphy. Gutey felt the pressure. Knew he was on hot seat. Demovsky just stated on Get Up that it’s likely Policy put the pressure on for Gutey to be more aggressive. Gutey Booty Boys is the lamest thing I’ve ever heard.
