Construction guy by day • Dad cheering on baseball + funding dance dreams • Golf is my escape ⛳ Augusta vibes • Family, sports, and the occasional birdie
Living in Augusta means Augusta National is always there—like a neighbor you wave to but never get invited over for dinner. ⛳
Every time I drive past Magnolia Lane, I still get that kid-on-Christmas feeling. The pines look taller, the azaleas brighter, even in February.
As a weekend hacker dad juggling job sites, baseball practices, and dance recitals, I know I’ll probably never tee it up there. But watching the Masters each year from my couch (or sneaking a practice round peek when the gates open), it reminds me why I love this game: the beauty, the challenge, the stories.
One day, maybe I’ll get that one magical invite. Until then, I’ll keep grinding my local tracks, teaching my kids to chip, and dreaming of Amen Corner birdies.
Who’s with me—Augusta locals or dreamers? What’s your favorite “what if” Masters moment?

‼️BREAKING: Dashcam Frame By Frame Shows Intact Learjet In Final Seconds Before Palm Beach Crash — Plus Reveals Likely Cause 😱
Dashcam footage from November 1, 2026, shows a Learjet 60 descending nearly vertically and fully intact until the moment it struck the ground near Military Trail in Palm Beach County, Florida, killing all nine people on board.
Air traffic control audio captures the crew reporting manageable light clear ice and moderate turbulence at about 35,000 feet with an outside air temperature of negative 47 degrees Celsius. Moments later the pilot stated they were picking up precipitation and requested a climb to 37,000 feet in an effort to rise above the storm cells. Immediately afterward the aircraft entered a rapid descent that accelerated past 10,000 and then 20,000 feet per minute while the pilot declared an overspeed condition. Frame-by-frame review of the closest dashcam video confirms the nose, windshield, and wings remained intact with no fire or explosion until impact created a crater and the fuel ignited. Most debris stayed concentrated near the site rather than scattering widely, which is consistent with a high-speed dive rather than a mid-air breakup. The sequence is reminiscent of other high-altitude upsets in which ice accumulation combined with precipitation can degrade lift faster than crews can recover.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash of N722BD, which was en route from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas. Weather, icing, and loss of control remain the early focuses.

Not only should this be part of the All-Star break, but Ichiro should compete in it every single year so that modern TTO hitters can see what real bat control looks like

The new Tesla Roadster performs a “kickflip” above the entire fleet of Tesla vehicles.
This comes after the Roadster launched from a large ramp, where it rotated midair before reaching the ground.
