Keeping you updated on all things NI golf related. Thanks to @nitrocoffeeco for sponsoring us in 2019 and allowing us to cover a momentous year for golf
What a setting on the 18th. So lucky to have the @World_Inv_Golf on our doorstep @GalgormCastle. Top quality players from both @EuropeanTour and @LETgolf. Hopefully an annual event.
-13 leads the women’s @World_Inv_Golf where the cut is even par and -11 leads the men’s event where the cut is also even par. Awesome to see @tommckibbin8 leading the Irish men at -4 and @OliviaMehaffey sitting at -3.
Bogey free first round today from @tommckibbin8 in @World_Inv_Golf at Massereene GC.
That is an excellent start. Well done that man. He will play his 2nd round @GalgormCastle tomorrow. One to follow if you are spectating tomorrow.
Not the Sunday I was looking for. Tough conditions and not my A game. Still a t20 and a good start to the year! On to Adelaide for the next event @WomensAusOpen
BBC Sport - Rory McIlroy: World number one return down to relentless consistency https://t.co/Fcjnz9ZT01
Good article - don't read the comments though (obviously)
Looks like the Irish Open is heading back to Northern Ireland! BBC Sport understands Portstewart will host the 2021 event. Official announcement expected soon.
John Rahm won the title there in 2017.
Bogey-free 69 for @jonnyc1984 who is T17 in the Alfred Dunhill Championship. Tremendous golf. Looks like being the only bogey-free round of the day and only the second this week.
Rory McIlroy overcomes Xander Schauffelle in China to secure his 3rd WGC title 😁 He required 1 extra hole to claim the win after both players finished tied on -19.
