I would have WD in Tiger's place too. It is the sensible decision. And he has nothing to gain. And a lot to lose if he finished 40 strokes behind.

#OWGR finally caught up with #WGR and has @JonRahmpga #1. #OWGR is notoriously sticky and lagging. The LIV players not being ranked is only one of the many flaws. @maxhoma23 is currently Top 5 in the #WGR and #OWGR will wake up to it a month late.

I think he should have played this year. Burmester isn't some superstar. But, LIV gave him a lot ($$$, Opportunity). Evened out.

The TV Viewership numbers are out for the Hero World Challenge and it continues the fall trend of ~30% fewer viewers compared to 2022. And the golf channel trend showed up in NBC Viewership as well.

The #PGATour cannot sustain this war with #LivGolf much longer at this rate

So, there's a lot of noise on how few viewers #LivGolf gets on YouTube - Is that right? NO

Why? Because by comparing YouTube vs TV, they are comparing apples to oranges. So, what is the right comparison? MLB Live on YouTube

LivGolf actually BEATS MLB which is incredible.

The final round viewership for the CJ Cup is down -37% from 2021 on a big day for Rory and the #PGATour. Numbers for other rounds were slightly positive.

Takeaway: The hardcore PGA fan is still watching but casual fans are dropping. Continues the downward fall trend for PGAT.

TV Ratings for Sanderson Farms last weekend are a disaster for the #PGATour. They are so bad that they don't show up in the top 150 shows!

Even assuming a generous 100K viewers, that is -60% down from same time last year. PGAT can't keep up with #LIVGolf if this is the trend.

On YouTube, #LIVGolf is pretty dominant compared to #PGA and #DPWT. Below table is the average viewership for the last day highlights (from the last 4 tournaments)

Might just reflect each tour's fan demographics, geographies but definitely a data point to observe.

The TopTracer is a very close approximation which is good from a viewer standpoint.
