@billyliucci Big 12 only has 1 CFP win all time. Those comparing an SEC schedule to a UIL 7a (big 12) schedule should never watch football again. The wear and tear is not the same. Miami and A&M have rosters full of NFL players. Oregon and Tech have just a few. It's simple math vs calculus.
@stmarkcatholic I strongly encourage everyone to attend this zoom. Chris is an outstanding speaker. His knowledge, passion and enthusiasm for Catholic education is amazing.
@JackAnderson56 Wish texas could join today!!! SEC is a grind. An absolute man up, Line of scrimmage league. Texas hasn't had good lines in over a decade. Halfway through an SEC schedule would wreck them. Heck, TCU beats them routinely doing what the SEC does with half the talent.
@orngblud2005 @TheBoomBooom @tadtolleson@kyleumlang@sehlinger3 The last 11 years A&M has the better program in the better conference. Texas has history and always relies on it. Both programs in my lifetime of 48 years are similar with one exception. Texas won the NC. Edge Texas. However an idiot would take Texas over A&M as the future.
@KirkHerbstreit Kirk, always respected your opinion and analysis. The hypocrisy is disturbing. You said OU should be considered because they finished so strong, but said ND resume was better than A&M? How did ND finish vs healthy Clemson? If ND plays A&Ms schedule with same result they get in.
@jmflynn74@C_Frank21@nnnoooaaahhh_@KirkHerbstreit If ND played A&Ms schedule this year with the same exact result (7 consecutive wins, 6 straight double digits) everyone would say... Look! ND ran through the SEC and only lost to the number 1 team in the country. Put 'em in the playoff!
@jmflynn74@C_Frank21@nnnoooaaahhh_@KirkHerbstreit ND is a good program but you play against crap. ND has had 1 more player drafted in the last 4 years than A&M. The SEC has 29% of the players drafted the past 10 years. That's our competition. The SEC has 6 of the top 10 recruiting classes past 3 years(including A&M).
@Ace_First@coachoz17@KirkHerbstreit Did you watch the Bama game? A&M was competitive. Untimely turnovers, missed opportunities, that's on A&M, but they were much more competitive against Bama than ND was against a healthy Clemson. OSU didn't play a complete game all year. Kirk even said so.
@KnightKalen@joelklatt It's special because the SEC has put 30 % of the players in the league for the past 10 years, won 10 of the last 16 nattys, has 5-6 of the top 10 recruiting classes the last several years, has 24 of the top 36 paid assistant coaches in the country. It's always a better product.
@justinHHI@ThibodeauxJC@joelklatt Talent? Yes. Top 10 nationally. Experience and crazy transition during COVID. Yes. People really need to pay attention.
@corbydavidson Do you have the ability to analyze a game or a team? Or is it always an OU (Big 12) bias? I love your show, but rarely is there any credence to your sports analysis. OU is always good, but in a class by themselves in big 12. It's not the same as SEC.
