@MichealMartinTD@LeoVaradkar @DonnellyStephen @Paschald@GolfIreland_ England today, Northern Ireland on Thursday, Scotland never closed, when are you allowing one of the safest outdoor activities to restart?
Let's hope there is positive news from @sportireland & @GolfIreland_ tomorrow regarding the opening of golf courses. If parks can open why can't golf courses after all its basically the same as parks except its actually controlled and managed with time intervals. #opengolfcourses
@SeanKellyMEP@HSELive@SeanKellyMEP isn’t there a chance you could appear on say Prime Time Seán to actually give the public an alternative viewpoint in this mess rather than the consistent scare mongering & doom and gloom highlighting of “case numbers” we have been bombarded with daily @PaulTreyvaud
UHK or Kerry General as we know it had just 2 patients with Covid yesterday and our 14 day average per 100K is 6 I think ( might be 5 ) yet the entire Kingdom is in level 5 lockdown #COVID19 - this is our reward after 3 months of a tough lockdown 🙈 Why are we still in captivity
Stay safe.Mind each other. But enough is enough.Let people do what is safe to do. Sick of listening to people, trying their best but seem so out of touch with the struggles and suffering of people, young and old. There’s more than Covid causing serious harm!! https://t.co/mU8adQSCgx
@GolfIreland_ can we please be told ... as members who pay our subs to you every year ... what stage you are at with your “discussions” upon finally opening our golf courses before we hear from you in the aftermath as per #golfireland#golf@IrishGolferMag@GavinMoynihan

When I saw this campaign, I thought ‘I’m not going to get into this. Covid restrictions are what they are’. But having found myself stopping over and over to let people pass socially-distanced in my local park, I have to say, this makes a point that is at least is worth debating.
Silly me!
Who am I to think we are all doing as we should on a normal Sat night in Dublin.
If this is Level 5, we are never getting out of it🥱
For anyone not sure where this is, its South William Street, Dublin 2 this evening.
@GUIGolf @IrishLadiesGolf @CGI_Golf @cregmoregolf Our golf club as a business, like many other businesses around the country, is closed for the next six weeks. We are taking no green fee golfers. Our COURSE is open for members who live within the 5km limit to utilise + enjoy. Their mental+physical health will benefit enormously.
I’ve a couple of things to say about this latest closure of golf for 6 weeks while other sports continue. By “Clifden” I’m referring to the politicians golf society incident, not the town or course ❤️. GUI, Sport Ireland and Politicians please listen and let me know if I’m wrong.
