The Championship Course has been turned into a spectacular winter wonderland! Sadly, the first snowfall of winter has ruled out golf for the next few days but anyone taking to the links for some fresh air and exercise is being rewarded with stunning vistas, as these fabulous images captured by  @MattHarrisPIXs confirm.

Based on past performance probably OB over the wall on the right first, over-compensate by pulling the 3rd into the Beardies, splash out, dunt the next one down the 5th fairway, sclaff #6 to the front of the green, then 3 more to get down. Easy 9.

Preserving History.

Jon Wood, ‘Keeper of the Green’ and his excellent team have completed a full programme of winter maintenance on the Old, New & Jubilee courses.

Overcoming some of the most challenging weather in recent history, the team have rebuilt 49 bunkers, the 13th Tee on the Old Course and restored Hell Bunker.

Regular play for locals & visitors restarts Tuesday, so nobody should lose their prepaid tee-times. Unless more bad weather keeps the course closed.
