Monday I attended the Vermillion County Farm Bureau candidate forum. It was a great opportunity to meet with members of the community, the local candidates and the State Rep & State Senate candidates.

We had a great trip to the Fountain County Republican Party Lincoln Day Dinner on Sunday at The Beef House Restaurant! Great turnout and great featured speaker. Thank you Paula Kopenhaver for the invitation and the chance to meet the community leaders in attendance!

At the dinner, Dana also had a panel discussion with all the local and state leaders on how Martin Co can improve the quality of life in the county and maximize growth opportunities. It was a great discussion that we all took away some ideas that can help.

Sunday was the best weather we've had in several years at the Ireland St Patrick's Parade. It's usually sleet and snow we are dealing with.

Congratulations to the Wabash Valley Right to Life organization in Terre Haute for putting on a great annual dinner event this week. They had two great speakers.

The second was Jill Staneck, who has spent decades advocating for the prolife community. She talked about her experiences as a nurse and her efforts to expose the abortion and infanticide practices of the hospital she used to work for in Chicago that eventually got her fired.
