Facing a rebellious public, as his re-election campaign hit headwinds that even millions used to bribe Kenyans seems unable to fix, President Ruto’s team are expected to unleash a wave of intimidation campaign, targeting opposition politicians who have refused to join his Tutam choir.

The government’s game plan according to credible sources is to use EACC and other security agencies to intimidate legislators aligned to the Linda Mwanainchi group.

Some of the leaders targeted for intimidation includes Anthony Kibagendi, Babu Owino, Edwin Sifuna, James Orengo, and others

According to some documents we have seen, the EACC and other security agencies have opened politically motivated cases against these individuals in an effort to force them to support Ruto.

Other tactics include arresting security details of these politicians and charging them with fabricated charges to intimidate them.

Oscar, a police officer attached to James Orengo has already been arrested and charged with incitement, where he is being accused of giving Luos money to heckler President Ruto during his visit to Siaya, yesterday.

Those around the President must know that once the people have rejected him, no amount of intimidation or bribery can change that.

He is fighting a losing battle against the Linda Wanainchi group.

Fundamentally, the Affordable Housing programme should be extended to rural towns. This will enable Kenyans to change the attitude of fragmenting land and give room to maximum production of their ancestral land.

Coming from the Gusii community where fragmentation of ancestral land is common, today at the National Assembly, I proposed that the central government emphasizes on education by making it cheap and affordable to all Kenyans.

I endorsed proposals to dispatch Kenya Defense Forces [KDF] @kdfinfo to be part of EAC Regional Force in the DR Congo. It is imperative to note that the troops are going for peacekeeping mission and not war as in the case of initial stages of Linda Nchi Operation in Somalia.
