There has to be a spot for Konstas in this team. I do not care whether you drop Khawaja, Marnus or Green, or all 3 of them. all I know is when the first ball of the Ashes arrives in November we cannot have all 3 of those players trotting out to bat. #WTC25
@FOXFOOTY Weitering is a genuine full-back, who has dominated Hawkins and Mihocek in consecutive weeks. Mitch McGovern plays the intercept role and we have missed him last couple of weeks.
@Sammy__Edmund@1116sen Don’t mind if Walsh’s comes back in round 18, as long as he’s there come finals I’m not worried. Be precautionary and get it right
🚨DETAILS ON THE SURPRISE DINNER:
Pete Carroll on his Dinner with current and past players last night - It was nice to hear that Russell & Sherman were mending fences.
Carroll said they got the word out to see if “we can get the band together” at Legion, and then “guys just started showing up out of nowhere.”
“We had a great evening, and we’re having a blast. I’m in heaven just in the middle of all the guys and just having fun hugging it up,”
“Out of nowhere, door opens up… and in walks Russell… Out of nowhere, Russ just hit the scene. They flew up from San Diego or something like that and surprised us, which just made it really fun.”
“I’m walking out the door at the end of it and we’re getting ready to go, and Richard and Russell are standing in the doorway. And they both looked at me (and) said, ‘Look what had to happen for you to get us two talking to one another and having fun.’ It was a great moment.”
“It was a really pretty scene of Seahawk lore and heritage and background,” he said. “At one point, it’s Lawyer Milloy, Kam Chancellor, Quandre Diggs, Jamal (Adams) – all of the safeties and the DBs were all just in one big circle, you know. It just tied things together in a really gorgeous way. It was really, really fun. I felt like I was in heaven. …
And Doug standing there saying, ‘Not one of you guys could cover me.’ ‘I’m open standing right here, right now.’ It was priceless. Just priceless.”

@JakeBenoiton Was thinking similar but think he made the right call. Take the certain goal and back ourselves to hold on for a minute. The pressure involved in a set shot from that angle to win the game, trust me it is so much harder than it looks
@UptheBaggers I don’t think I can blame anyone that took the early train home, it was 9PM on a Sunday Night and clear the team put the cue in the rack midway through the third. I don’t think people were leaving out of anger, protest or disgust I think it just wasn’t really worth staying
@UptheBaggers Right call. Fish could be useful since we are light on in midfield (or allows us to push Cunningham/Fogarty into the middle). Need him to bring the pressure that the other smalls have though.
