Feminist leaders convinced women that women’s lives were horrible and oppressive in America before feminism. This isn’t true. Women were honored and valued before feminism. Men opened doors and pulled out chairs for them. Mothers were home raising their children. Marriages lasted a lifetime. Women didn’t depend on butterflies to keep their marriage together. They relied on commitment and doing what was right. They worked hard in their homes for their families. Feminism is 100% against God’s will for women.
@Tim_Denning The funniest part is watching people use “we can’t all be equal” to justify hierarchy, then suddenly discover equality when they’re the ones at the bottom
Funny how people say “she went silent because she was tired of talking” but when a man goes silent after repeating himself, he’s emotionally unavailable
A woman's detachment starts when she realizes she's said the exact thing before multiple times, in different ways, with different tones. Calmly.. Then emotionally..Then quietly.. Then in frustration.. And still.. nothing changed. Then. She gives up. The scariest part is she won't argue anymore, she'll just go silent and mean it.
@sunnkssdseraph Men detach the same way. They say it with jokes, then hints, then distance, then they stop coming home on time and everybody acts shocked
You're picking the person who will be with you on the worst day of your life. The day you have to bury a parent, the day the doctor calls you to give you bad news, the day you lose the job, the day your dog that you've had for 14 years doesn't come home. That's who you're choosing. And still most people date like they're casting a movie. Do they give me butterflies? Are they exciting? Is their chemistry cool?Butterflies aren't gonna matter when life punches you in the face and when that day comes, you will not care how charming they were on the first date. You'll care whether they stayed, you'll care whether they showed up, you'll care if they made the effort and they made the unbearable feel bearable. The older I get, the less I'm asking myself if I want to spend a saturday night with this person, and the more I find myself asking, do I want this person to stand next to me when my life falls apart
According to psychology, if a guy acts completely different around his friends than he does alone with you, it's not necessarily because his friends "bring out another side of him." It can be impression management. Some people change their behavior depending on whose approval they value most in that moment
