@EmpowerEDScot @MrMcEnaney There is huge resistance to publishing information to access freely, even when it is a requirement e.g. SPSO require complaints stats to be published by SQA but it has never been invoked. Also, a heads up is often given before it gets to the FOI team so info can be deleted.
We are so proud of Theresa, this billboard is on a main thoroughfare into are city and it takes a brave women to bare her scars like this so publicly. If it saves one life, says Theresa its worth it!
@RuarBro@MrMcEnaney It was certainly the most comfortable / least stressful role I’ve ever had! Organisational culture is the issue. No change to leadership = no change.
@hivecancerderry Good news. However, would have been even better if they had a full ban (not just a ‘restriction’) on all (not ‘most’) food packaging. Hope UK follows, but I have my doubts.

🧵@FionaS780712, seconded to us from @NHSGGC, had the opportunity to participate in the @ESTRO_RT Congress in Glasgow.
Over 7,000 attendees came together to share their knowledge.
As part of our Fear of Recurrence Group Programme, Fiona shared our valuable service (1/3)
Watched the quads out spraying today around Derry, didnt care that people were right next to them! @dcsdcouncil when will you bring statutory agencies in your area, into line with yiur @glyphosatefree policy?
@neilhenderson80@Liz_ORiordan I’ve seen this as a patient. Visits to my oncology nurse were easy going but when the consultant was in the room, she didn’t say a word, even when my conversation was directed at her. Hierarchies are real!
@mariaflengeris @DrPaulaGordon@ebmgatineau So sorry to read that. We're guided by professionals and most people trust the system unaware there may be times where the system fails us. Most woman I know feel safe in the knowledge they're clear when told they are. Hope you are well now.
@DrPaulaGordon@ebmgatineau I have a frozen shoulder & was offered a bone scan.I asked for an MRI as an alternative;consultant refused.NHS has limited funds/resources therefore basic services offered (staff are amazing though) so, sadly,I don’t think they would do an MRI even if breasts were extremely dense
@DrPaulaGordon@ebmgatineau Thank you. I haven’t been told what category of density I have - simply advised that I have ‘mixed density’. I shall now ask my BCN for more info. I’m in Scotland so annual mammo only as follow up (for 5yrs, post BC diagnosis).
