7/15 Remi passed in my arms, it was peaceful, he knew he is loved. He fought hard, the pain is gone, no more cancer. He can run on all the beaches. I’m so grateful he picked me. He brought so much to my life when I needed it most. He was & always will be the best little boy. ❤️🌈
The past few days have been a rollercoaster, Remi had a very rough birthday Tuesday. Luckily, he had a good day yesterday so I made him a cake. We had a little party, just the two of us. It wasn’t the party I had planned but it was perfect. I love him so much 💙
In case you haven’t seen the news on Instagram, the vet declared Remi a cancer survivor after his 5th round of chemotherapy this week. Xrays and ultrasounds were both clear and showed no sign of spread or new growth! ❤️🎉
Remi had his 4th of 5 chemotherapy treatments on Wednesday. They did xrays for the first time since surgery in January. We are waiting on the final word from radiology but the oncologist did not see signs of metastasis! 🎉❤️
Day 1 of chemotherapy went well. The vet called me at lunch, she said he did an awesome job and was ready for pick up...followed by “don’t leave work early or rush because he’s happy, not at all stressed and we are happy to have him here”....classic Remi.
@DrakeGolf Not sure yet. When not crying I’m in full research mode 🤓 will do everything I can to try to extend his life but more importantly make him comfortable and happy.
1/2: How did they pack so much good into this little body?
I got the call last night. Remi has been diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma, spleen cancer. I am heartbroken but trying to be strong for him. I am giving him all the love and snuggles I can.
2/2: He’s currently healing nicely from surgery and has been in good spirits. We went to the doggie health store today and got some new foods to try and cbd oil. We also have Yunnan Baiyao to try to slow progression. We will meet with the vet next week to go over our options.
