Today, I had the privilege of meeting with the Hon. Minister of ICT @TateMavetera to map out a digital future for our creators.

Lately, many of you have rightfully expressed frustration over a lack of transparency.

Please know that your voices have driven this next step.

We are preparing to launch digital systems designed to give members full sight of their work's usage and accurate accounting of their royalties.

By partnering with the Ministry of ICT, we are driving efficiency up and bringing transparency to the forefront of everything we do.

Thank you for your patience as we reform and modernize for the benefit of all Zimbabwean artists!

Today, I had the distinct pleasure of leading the ZIMURA delegation in a high-level strategic dialogue with the ZBC CEO and his executive team.

Our mission was singular and focused - to secure, advance, and elevate the economic and creative interests of Zimbabwean musicians.

A thriving music ecosystem relies on a powerful symbiosis. Broadcasters require world-class content to captivate audiences, and our creators deserve a premier national platform that honors their work.

I am incredibly encouraged by ZBC's mutual commitment to this vision.

Moving forward, we are establishing a robust framework anchored in transparency, strict compliance, and fair recognition to ensure our artists are justly rewarded for their airplay.

We aren't just having conversations; we are building a sustainable, profitable future for Zimbabwe's music industry.

@boghoman The most important issue to discuss is why musicians are getting “nothing” and we will start solving musicians’ problems the moment we stop believing and spreading misinformation to the effect that the Zimura board & management is mismanaging funds.

@boghoman There is no ratio for distribution interms of artists and the board per se infact the board is made up of artists, its an artist owned organisation.

Perhaps you meant Cost To Income Ratio as in how much can management use from the total revenue collected.

30% is recommended.
