We understand that some community members downloaded the v1.1.3a binaries directly from GitHub before the official release announcement. Due to an issue during the GitHub release process, an incorrect hard fork height was unintentionally included in the v1.1.3a binaries.

To correct this, we have released v1.1.3b, which restores the correct hard fork height and ensures stable network synchronization.

📢Upcoming Release: v1.1.3a

We're pleased to announce that v1.1.3a will be released shortly. This update contains the fixes and improvements needed to restore normal network operation and get everyone back up and running.

We want to set expectations that synchronising from genesis may be rather slow, particularly between blocks 510,000-513,000. While progress during this range can appear to stall, the sync will complete if left to run.

We are aware that the migration is not 100% seamless, and a small number of users may need to perform a full sync from genesis. We apologise in advance to those affected. To make the process easier, we aim to provide access to downloadable images of a fully working blockchain in the coming days for anyone who prefers not to sync from genesis.

Once the network has fully stabilised, we will publish a comprehensive technical analysis of the recent spam attack, its impact, and the improvements made in response.

Salvium is on the verge of returning to full functionality again. ✅

Following on from the spam attack (which was blocked by the recent HF), we have discovered that output indexing in the blockchain had been effectively broken by the spam TX outputs. This meant that all outputs created after the first spam output were effectively unspendable by the current wallet code.

1. Your coins are not "lost" or "stolen". Coins that were in your wallet REMAIN IN YOUR WALLET. It doesn't matter if they're coinbase (e.g. STAKE payouts, miner block rewards, etc) or RCT outputs - they're still there, but temporarily inaccessible. If you are having issues accessing your funds, or your balance appears incorrect, we fully expect it to be resolved by the release being made shortly.

2. Whilst the spam attack was a relatively sophisticated attempt to completely break the Salvium chain, we have been able to develop a fix that will return Salvium to normal operation. No rollbacks, no hacks.

3. We have also evolved our internal database structure in the daemon to better resist any future attempts at similar disruption. The spam attack cannot be repeated, and the fallout it caused cannot either.

Our sincere apologies for the disruption to the Salvium network. But at least Salvium has emerged stronger than ever before, thanks to the reprehensible actions of these individuals.
