Perhaps my favorite Supreme Court exchange in recent memory:
Solicitor general: “It’s a new world."
John Roberts: "It's a new world. It's the same Constitution."
Into my veins 😌
Reporter: If you could say something to Trump, what would it be?
PA voter: You’re a worthless pile of sh*t.
Reporter: How many times did you vote for him?
PA voter: 3 times. That was my bad. Apparently I’m an idiot.

No decent human being would look a grieving family in the eye...after a woman is murdered by a repeat abuser...and say: “Yeah, bad deal… but she kept going back. She got what she deserved.”
So why in the world would we say the political version of that to Republicans who are finally feeling betrayal...real betrayal...by Trump and the lawmakers who enabled him?
My position is not: “Well, you were a moron. You kept voting for him. Deal with it.”
My position is: He betrayed you. He betrayed me. He betrayed the country. And whatever private, personal, hard-earned reason brought you to the point where you said, “Enough”… welcome.
Come in. Stand next to us.
Because together, we’re strong. Divided into smug little tribes of “I told you so”… we’re finished.
Anything else is emotional indulgence dressed up as righteousness...and it will cost all of us.
We live in challenging times. But these are also clarifying times, where the choices are clear, and we have examples to admire.
All honor to the Epstein survivors.
All honor to the people of Minneapolis.
All honor to the people of Ukraine.
No joke, get this. A cabal of billionaire pedophile Nazis has seized control of a global superpower. They’re murdering people in the street, arresting journalists, and setting up a network of concentration camps across the United States.
Cool. I guess we’re just gonna watch?
This giant ICE Army they are building this year is also likely to be at polling places during the midterms in heavily Democratic precincts with the excuse being that they are looking for “illegals trying to vote.”
2026 is going to get far worse. We have to steel our resolve against the pressures and forces that will be increasing. They're never going to stop the assault on our constitutional liberties and the rule of law. Never. We are going to have to defeat, remove, and prosecute them.
I was talking with a good friend tonight who said if only our entire country had acted like Minneapolis was acting right now from the beginning, we’d have avoided this entire mess. So true.
But we can follow their lead now and behave with the same courage, organization, and patriotism.
its clear to me that the goal here is to keep escalating until something gives and people push back. and then use that as a means to implement martial law and engage in mass repression. Minnesota is a testing ground.
